@Fido,
I used to get asthma jogging sometimes when it was cold too. Do you do anything for it?

@ossobuco,
Smile

There is a 5K being run on Sat. 10/30. Another costumes optional affair. I think it'll go right past Chez Philbis.

@jespah,
Neat! Back when I lived in northern california, the truck parade passed my house (and the people sitting on my short front wall) at christmas time, and the rhododendron parade passed in April. I like watching runners, over whatever distances, and like small parades too. In your case, a combo event..

Just finished the Staten Island Half Marathon in 2:26:19. That's another personal best, within the last 15 years at least. Gorgeous view of Manhattan; perfect, cloudless weather; I couldn't think of a more pleasant way to spend a Sunday morning.

@Thomas,
YAY for your PB - well done you Thomas!

Beautiful day here too - no running, but the lawns had a haircut.

Waiting on Joe(jinglealltheway)Nation results...

I dump enough asthma meds in me to stop my heart and then I go take my chances... What else can I do??? I don't care if I am running to my funeral because I am not going to become the prisoner of an unresponsive body... I don't know what I may die of by I know I will die trying...

@George,
Freakin' cold. I wore as much as I did when I ran a 5K last December.

44:27 for me, 28 something for RP. 5th best time out of the 7 I've run so far this year. 2 more to go!
