@farmerman,
There are miniature mandolins for slicing or grating garlic -- I have one. I don't think it would take a whole truffle unless they've got so miniature pigs who dig up miniature truffles. This all reminds be of the original Star Trek episode that was so funny, "The Trouble with Truffles."

Well, furry ones, anyway.

@Lightwizard,
I didn't figure it one way or the other (whada I know about truffle slicing) but took it to be jolly.

OMG ... I have an electric can opener, and I always thought it was for opening regular cans. I didn't realize I was supposed to open electric cans with it.

@tsarstepan,
And then there's the electric table saw. What a dilemma!

@soozoo,
Or the gruesome electric band saw?!

... I'll pass on that one.

@soozoo,
Yes, and be cautious to make sure you've plugged in the can before opening. Don't plug it into 220V as it will instantly turn into a laundry machine.

@Ionus,
Or "The Truffle with Tribbles." I should think that would be an unappetizing dish unless one peels the Tribbles.

@tsarstepan,
But, but, I've actually seen and electric table and an electric band. That would be a listing of volts, watts and ohms and ELO.

@Lightwizard,
I would think that using an electric band saw to dismantle the Electric Light Orchestra could get pretty bloody.... eww....

@tsarstepan,
Now you're getting into Dexter territory. You're not going to wrap the ELO in Saran Wrap, are you?
