Amanda Knox

I'm not clear either, Osso, but am so convinced that the Italian justice system has cocked this one up, I am positive that they cannot ultimately jail the weird American girl or her Italian boyfriend for very long, if at all, because it would soon get overturned due to utter incompetence by the prosecution.
Knox is a very strange girl, to say the least, but that is not enough to jail her.
What forensic evidence there was around at the time was corrupted or destroyed by the Italian amateurs, and without it there is very little chance of convicting beyond a reasonable doubt.
The really sad thing about this thread is the way that one or two posters here have become really quite deranged about the whole thing, resulting in despicable comments being made about Kercher and her family, for no other reason than the deranged poster's almost obscene obsession with the strange girl Knox and their absolute belief that she is nothing less than an angel visiting us mere mortals here on earth.

This weird obsession will probably get worse and be taken up by many Americans when the strange Knox girl is soon jailed in the US, and get a whole lot worse when she is eventually extradited, but will probably only be a bit of the usual over the top crazy flag waving for a fellow American.
All I would say to that is calm down boys....she'll be back in a year or two when it's all finally overturned.

My thoughts in the meantime go out to the Kercher family, who STILL don't have proper closure due to the idiots within the Italian justice system. Anyone who wants to malign their daughter/sister at this time must be much more than a sandwich short of a picnic, to say the least.
I find it utterly reprehensible, and those posters are totally without honour or basic decency.

Two groups of people are loving this.

True that Italy hasn't figured out what science is yet, but this isn't really a case of corrupted or destroyed evidence. It is rather a case of outright fabricated evidence.

Or will the Kerchers be allowed to get away with making money off sending innocent people to prison, with the Italian taxpayers being the ones who have to reimburse Raffaele?

The Kerchers don't have closure due to the fact that the Kerchers have fought tooth and nail to prevent any examination of the evidence so they can take advantage of Meredith's death to steal Raffaele's inheritance, and that had the unintended consequence (divine providence) of giving Guede a series of huge sentence reductions.

When I say that I hope Guede ends up climbing through the bedroom window of someone you love, I mean that with the deepest sincerity.

But that's up to Guede I guess. Regardless of who Guede ends up targeting, it's going to be a lot of fun charting his progress once he gets out.

I think if the Italian court of appeal, in the full glare of publicity from the world's press and in the certain knowledge of strong disapproval from the USA, considering all the available evidence, found Sollecito and Knox guilty of the murder then we should consider the fact that the decision may well be right.

And stop lying. Aside from spending millions of Euros to prove that Amanda sliced some carrots, the court did not consider any of the evidence in this case (much less all of it).

I think it a bit of a stretch to count their exploration of transvestite seances as "consideration of evidence", so I'm not counting Clown Day At The Court as consideration of evidence.

Since you're a freak, you might have a differing opinion of transvestite seances, but my overall point remains the same.
