@Lordyaswas,

If you are unclear, it can only be due to willfully ignoring all the facts and evidence.

It is pretty despicable the way you demonize and lie about innocent people.
Lordyaswas wrote:What forensic evidence there was around at the time was corrupted or destroyed by the Italian amateurs, and without it there is very little chance of convicting beyond a reasonable doubt.
True that Italy hasn't figured out what science is yet, but this isn't really a case of corrupted or destroyed evidence. It is rather a case of outright fabricated evidence.
Lordyaswas wrote:The really sad thing about this thread is the way that one or two posters here have become really quite deranged about the whole thing,
Now you are just being silly. Support for justice and defense of the innocent is hardly deranged.
Lordyaswas wrote:resulting in despicable comments being made about Kercher and her family, for no other reason than the deranged poster's almost obscene obsession
Those supposedly despicable comments are all entirely true.
And the reason I point out those truths is because I oppose atrocities against the innocent.
Lordyaswas wrote:and their absolute belief that she is nothing less than an angel visiting us mere mortals here on earth.
The evidence is clear that Amanda and Raffaele are innocent.
If you don't like that I defend innocent people from your hateful lies, too bad.
Lordyaswas wrote:This weird obsession will probably get worse and be taken up by many Americans when the strange Knox girl is soon jailed in the US, and get a whole lot worse when she is eventually extradited,
That isn't even remotely likely to happen.
But yes, it would indeed increase the already widespread calls for action against the Kerchers. It would be only a matter of time before Meredith's corpse had a run in with a wood chipper.
Lordyaswas wrote:All I would say to that is calm down boys....she'll be back in a year or two when it's all finally overturned.
If you think any of us would stay calm in the face of you vermin putting innocent people back in prison for a couple more years, you are really out of touch with reality.
And as already noted, the scenario you propose will happen only in your imagination.
However, it is unclear whether the Kerchers will be able to steal Raffaele's inheritance before the convictions are overturned.
And also unclear whether the Kerchers will be forced to return their ill-gotten gains after the convictions are overturned.
If the Kerchers do steal Raffaele's inheritance and then have to return it, what if they've spent some of the money? Can their homes and retirement accounts be seized?
Or will the Kerchers be allowed to get away with making money off sending innocent people to prison, with the Italian taxpayers being the ones who have to reimburse Raffaele?
Lordyaswas wrote:My thoughts in the meantime go out to the Kercher family, who STILL don't have proper closure due to the idiots within the Italian justice system.
The Kerchers don't have closure due to the fact that the Kerchers have fought tooth and nail to prevent any examination of the evidence so they can take advantage of Meredith's death to steal Raffaele's inheritance, and that had the unintended consequence (divine providence) of giving Guede a series of huge sentence reductions.
Lordyaswas wrote:Anyone who wants to malign their daughter/sister at this time must be much more than a sandwich short of a picnic, to say the least.
Or maybe such people merely think it is wrong to send innocent people to prison and steal their inheritance.
Lordyaswas wrote:I find it utterly reprehensible, and those posters are totally without honour or basic decency.
It is always quite amusing when someone who spews horrendous lies about the innocent victims of atrocities says that honor and decency is lacking in people who defend said innocent victims.
I have more honor and decency in my little toe than you have in your entire family tree.
