Don't offer sympathy........

I am used to being attack here for my positions on issues as I am far far from the mean for this group, however offering sympathy to a fellow cat lover that was not something I would think would cause an attack out of the blue.

This group have some crazy people on it however if offering sympathy to a person who cat medical condition resulted in forcing him to take his cat to a shelter cause three not one person but three persons to mount an attack.

This is way over the top even for this website.

Bill, it had nothing to do with your cat remarks in my case. It did have to do with about 95% of your other posts.

perhaps bill has a short memory and forgets that when I posted about this cat earlier he came roaring out of the gate like a real prick.

Bill, I really like & also admire your love & concern for your cats. Sometimes I don't agree with some of your other views, though.

I really don't think anyone can be "forced" into taking their cat to a shelter as a result of a discussion on an internet forum.

My freind there are plenty of time and opportunity to attack me for my postings you disagree with but this blind hate is way over the top trigger by just offering sympathy to a fellow cat lover.

Oh, now I remember I suggest you take the cat to a vet before doing anything else and you for some reason did not react well to that suggestion and make some comments that set me off as a cat lover that later you claimed you did not mean.

Fine still it is over the top for three people to offer attacks for offering sympathy months later.

If a cat change his or her behavior such as not using the cat box after doing so for years the first thing that I would suggest is taking the cat to the vet.

I had my new kitten on my lap as I type this at my mother home.

I take her with me then I visit my 88 years old mother as she love the kitten and the kitten is happier when not sharing me with four other cats.

A thought, Bill: these sorts of "I'm not happy with how A2K is treating me" threads are really not a good idea, I think. They just about always backfire on their instigators & make matters worse, rather than better.
Why not give it a rest, take a bit of break ...?

I will pet the cat/kitten for you and I was just in the position of being shock at what seem as an insane attack and I did not wish to take over the thread of the woman looking for information on her cat problem.

Not remembering that the gentleman and I had disagree in the past over his "duty" to take a pet to the vet many months ago.

Now I understand what set him off if not the two ladies who then join in.
