Perhaps not, but he is telling you important information. Your post of sympathy was regarded as sarcasm because people consider you an ass. At this point, I recommend (although I know you didn't ask) that you post something like "Sorry, I was just offering my condolences over Bear's loss and didn't mean anything else by it" and then let it drop! Just about everyone here is considered an ass by someone, so don't let it rile you. If you want to maintain a more civil tone, now's the time to start.
catching up... I don't know where I've been for the past year but I had my first run in (or, acquaintance) with Bill over the weekend. I must have seen him around before that but he and I had never participated on a thread before. I was a little bowled over by his blunt, over-bearing, moral judgementalism and decided to read back a bit.
Yes, there's apparently a long history of bullying back in forth with the regular bullies. Yes, there appear to be some social graces missing. Yes, the assholes all tend to think everyone else is an asshole. I thought bill was an asshole so, yes, I'm an asshole too. We all can be and those who get their jollies by out-bullying the perceived bullies are no exception.
Whatever...
your post landed on the bottom of the previous page. I thought Bill may have missed it. It bears repeating.
