Mysteryman emailed me this evening saying that, had he not been called away by a house on fire, he would have picked the Steelers last evening.
He wants to join the rest of us in picking that game wrong.
Johnboy nods to MM. You are a good guy, J.

Good man.
We're a group gone wrong, in the meantime.

@panzade,
yeah, I heard about that from my g/f's friend. Being on old Boston Bruins fan, I remember the reputation of Broad ST Bullies and their fans. Thanks for the warning.

Good day to yall. It has been raining here since early, early this morning. When I went to the shop around 8 to get the cash registers set up for Andy/Clubber there was some sleet mixed in. Now, though. the temperature is up to 36.
I am "officially" listing the Redskins vs Raiders game as a tossup. We are split 12-14 in favor of Oakland.
I AM STILL MISSING RHYSS' PICKS.
There is one game where we are divided 15-11 and a couple of 16-10's and a 17-9.
We are unanimous in choosing the Saints over Atlanta. Edgar alone dreams of the Lions beating the Ravens. Fbaezer sees Denver over Indy and Lmur thinks the Panthers can top the Patriots. If this were a road game for N.E. he probably would have had more company.
In the remaining games, Panzade and Cowdoc disagree with the majority on zero games. Six of us are out of step on one game. Jespah sees 5 games turning out differently than the most of us.
Spendius and #2 Maporsche make opposing picks in just 1 game. Spendi and #3 McGentrix differ on 4 games.

Tonight, late tonight (after midnight) there is predicted to be a bunch of meteors. Alas, it will be cloudy in VA.

@edgarblythe,
Wow. I may not be the brightest bulb on the Christmas tree or the candle that gives off the most light on the menorah: I know enough to never call a game until it is over.
But Houston leads Seattle 24-0 after 1 quarter.
And my Fantasy Player Andre Johnson already has something like 23 Fantasy Points. Take that, ElStud.
Tico, JPinMilw, George, Alex and Jespah have Seattle.

Sloshing around in my incoming mail were these choices from Rhyss. He does not hang out on A2K, so his picks can take a circuitous route.
He made it on time:
(Pitt)
N.O.
Balt
G.B.
Houston
Indy
Jac
Buff
Cincy
N.E.
N.Y. Jets
Tenn
Oak
S.D.
Phil
Ariz (31-20)
He disagrees with the majority on 3 games.

The early games are over. Through 11 games (including the Thursday night debacle), McGentrix, Clubber and Ehbeth are 10-1.
Spendius and Maporsche at the top on the standings are 8-3 while Johnboy is 9-2.
Fbaezer and George stumble along at 6-5.

14 games down. 2 to go. I have the never-say-die-McGentrix and the intrepid EhBeth at 13-1 with 2 games to go. Clubber and Panzade are at 12-2 and have Philly vs the leaders' pick of the Jets.
Spendius lost a bunch of ground against McGentrix.
