RJB thought up this game, spendi. I don't think he partakes of strong drink.

@Ticomaya,
I think, Tico, that Spendi was referring to the game of football itself. I could be wrong. His train of thought often leaves me derailed.

Oh, my. Arizona beating Minnesota 27-10 heading into the 4th quarter.
Who would have thunk it?
George and Tico.

A mid-table irrelevance.

Why did the Giants take a timeout with one second to go on the clock and the Texans with a field goal to take. Was it to get the kicker's nerves jangling?

@spendius,
Yes. I have witnessed a team taking two time outs consecutively to put pressure on the field goal kicker, and to give him time to let his mind ,..wander.

It's called "icing the kicker".

In basketball, you may see something similar before a crucial free throw.

18 of us have Green Bay tonight while 8 of us are betting on Baltimore. All of the ESPN experts are going for the Packers.
If Green Bay does win Spendius will take the week outright with a very fine 13-3 record. A Baltimore victory would put him in a tie at 12-4 with Jespah, Clubber and JPinMilw. The way I have it sketched out with regards to the tiebreaker is that if Baltimore's winning score is 13 points or fewer: Clubber. 14-17: Jespah. 18-23: Spendius. 24 or more: JPinMilw.

Week #13 could be our worst week of the season as a group; salvaged only by a handful of folks who did well.
