Some big changes that may or may not affect the outcomes this week

Steelers' Palomalo will miss Chief's game, maybe more

http://www.trojanwire.com/polamalu-si-cover.jpg

Eagles' Westbrook's second concussion might be the end of a stellar career

http://footballnationblogs.com/files/2009/06/brian-westbrook.jpg

Larry Johnson signed by Cincy. They ain't the Bungles anymore!

The Falcon's Michael Turner is out with a high ankle sprain; not something you bounce back from quickly.
The Giants will stifle Atlanta's running game and may score a defensive touchdown as QB Matt Ryan has been serving up turnovers like a pastry chef.

@ossobuco,
Welcome back, Osso.
Imur's picks kind of threw me, but he is a big boy. He may end up being right.

@realjohnboy,
I still can't process if it's Imur or Lmur, though I've been told (no brain, my lady). I enjoy him as either, wish he'd post more.

Thanks for the welcome. I've been zoned out for about three weeks, thus more than usually perplexed re football. But, as I posted, in the midst of it all I got a bath of big screen tv and current football broadcasting, with constant talking heads and an overdose of shots re where is the foot or football, none of which just stay on the screen for a second or two. I'm not complaining, though I sound like it - it was a kick to see. I'd run it differently, of course.

@ossobuco,
Maybe that is a lower case "l" rather than an upper case "I" in lumr or Imur. But he answers when I say "come" or "fetch."
A customer of more than a decade or so has addressed me by the wrong 1st name for the whole time. I never corrected him. He now works for my architect and learned of his mistake. No big deal.

@realjohnboy,
I think Imur (perhaps) told me and I managed not to save the note. So, to me he's either Ian or Liam, no matter his real name. Man with wit once he talks.

Andy/Clubber is back after the band's nearly month long. Lots of stories, as is his wont. Including a mafia-like adventure in a Houston Marriott (with an atrium, osso) after a club owner tried to stiff the band of their $1000 guarantee following a show.
His picks this week:
Miami
Indy
Dallas
Detroit
Green Bay
Buffalo
Pittsburgh (he was very sad about the Cincy loss last week)
Minnesota
NYG
NO
Arizona
San Diego
New England
Cincy
Philly
