Okay. So here is the schedule for Week #6. Once again, there are 14 games to pick. In Week #7 there appear to be only 13.
Once again this week - as I did in Week #4 - I am including each team's (W-L) record as well as {PF (points scored) vs PA (points scored against)}. Some really good teams and some pretty pathetic ones.
If yall find that info useful, it takes about 30 minutes a week to find and record it. If someone would like to do that on Tuesdays and amend/quote my schedule, that would be cool. No need to commit for the season - just a week or so. The source I use is nfl.com/standings

Week #6:
Early games -10/17-
Houston (2-3) {115-120} @ Cincinnati (4-1) {101-90}
Cleveland (1-4) {55-121} @ Pittsburgh (3-2) {113-98}
Kansas City (0-5) {84-138} @ Washington (2-3) {73-82}
Carolina (1-3) {57-104} @ Tampa Bay (0-5) {68-140}
NY Giants (5-0) {151-77} @ New Orleans (4-0) {144-66}
Detroit (1-4) {103-162} @ Green Bay (2-2) {104-93}
Baltimore (3-2) {138-97} @ Minnesota (5-0) {156-90}
St Louis (0-5) {34-146} @ Jacksonville (2-3) {97-127}
Later games -
Philadelphia (3-1) {127-86} @ Oakland (1-4) {49-130}
Arizona (2-2) {85-89} @ Seattle (2-3) {115-82}
Tennessee (0-5) {84-139} @ New England (3-2) {104-91}
Buffalo (1-4) {77-116} @ NY Jests (3-2) {101-88}
Sunday night -10/17-
Chicago (3-1) {105-78} @ Atlanta (3-1) {102-63}
Monday night -10/18-
Denver (5-0) {99-43} @ San Diego (2-2) {101-102}

Plus the final score in that game.
Thanks for playing. Let's all try (by whatever method we use to make our picks) to do better than last week.

Thank goodness - thought I'd mis-dated all my correspondence.

Well, it is 10/14 in Ireland and still 10/13 in the U.S. I think.

I was wandering around the various sports pages today and stumbled on this regarding the St Louis Rams. We touched briefly a week or so ago about how that franchise is for sale after the death of the owner. His heirs have, it is said, "other interests."
A group of investors has been formed to explore buying the team. Included is conservative talk show host Rush Limbaugh, who grew up in the area.
I read that opposition to his participating from other owners is pretty strong. Even the commissioner of the NFL has chimed in suggesting that Mr Limbaugh may not be an "appropriate" choice as a part owner.
I certainly do not, I say do not, want to get into politics, but yall might want to watch how this plays out.

@realjohnboy,
(watching)

On the games, the ones between miserable teams are hard to pick...

@realjohnboy,
I'll speak up for doing that record keeping task. You can count on me for the next update.

@Ragman,
Cool. If there is any other extraneous stat that catches your eye, please add it. EhBeth has, in the past, selected on which team has the cuter QB. She does as well as most of the rest of us. Spendius et al look at numbers. EhBeth looks at dimples or something. Go figure.

no no

That was Jespah, wasn't it? I went with hairiest/scariest team mascot at least once. Then there was the t.v. show associated with a city week ...
