@CowDoc,
I'm only the lonely Cleveland voter. I may give in and change my mind in the morning, but I'll probably go with it. They'll likely lose, but maybe it'll presage a change.

@realjohnboy,
Of all the cushy numbers, long range forecaster with the Irish Met Office must be up there. If it's raining up north, it's liable to be raining down south as well.

Hi and good luck to us all in this Week #5.
A comment was made a few pages ago that this week's games looked relatively easy to pick. That could turn out to be a recipe for disaster.
With 26 players in (Ms Cowdoc, where are you, dear?) we are unanimous in 3 but really 4 games. We all have the Steelers, Eagles, Vikings and NY Giants.
George - true enough - has the Raiders but that is only because his religion does not condone him ever picking the Giants. He will choose the Giants to lose even in a bye week.
Only ElStud and Imur have the Bengals topping the Ravens and McGentrix, George and Osso predict the Browns will win against the Bills.
Amongst the early games only the Panthers vs Redskins game comes close to being a toss-up. We split 17-9 Carolina.
It gets interesting in the games later this afternoon. We split 17-9 or 16-10 in those 4 games.

There are 8 players who disagree with the group of us on just 4 games, and a bunch more on 3 or 2 games. Region, Ehbeth, Tico and Ragman think differently just 1 game (in each case in a different game).
Which brings me to Panzade and Spendius. They agree with the majority - and each other - on all 16 games.
That strikes me as suspicious. First of all, they are in adjoining columns on my scorecard. Coincidence that they would have the same picks? Secondly, most players post picks in the order I list the games. But not those two! They make their selections in an entirely different order. That is fine but suggests to me that they are NOT ... JUST ... GUESSING.
We will see if that strategy works. Later.

(edit: Miz Cowdoc came in while I was writing)
