Cool. I have been a bit busy this week but, without any nagging, everyone is in except the Cowdocs. I am confident they will be here by game time.
Thanks!

@realjohnboy,
I think the Cowdocks will show up.
I've rethought my choices off and on, but will go will them. This may be my three out of fourteen week.

If 3-14 were to happen to you, osso, you will have plenty of company!

@realjohnboy,
It happened once, it can happen again. I tend to make some risky choices (otherwise, why play, eh?).

@realjohnboy,
I'm here, RJB...well, actually, by the time you read this I will probably be in the lush community of Leadore, Idaho, spending my traditional first Sunday in October working the McRea herd of cattle. Since the forecast for tomorrow is for an eighty percent chance of snow, with thirty mph wind gusts and a high of thirty-seven degrees, I will more than likely be cursing Al Gore for his damned global warming, and missing out on hearing how miserable these picks are. Oh, well........ hopefully the Miz will drag her hindquarters out of bed in time to post hers. Here goes........

Chicago
Indianapolis
Tennessee
New York Giants
Washington
New England
Houston
Cincinnati
Miami
New Orleans
Dallas
San Francisco
Pittsburgh
Minnesota 31-21

Hope y'all have a great weekend!

I do not know if this has been mentioned before. As a quarterback, Brett Favre has defeated all 32 teams EXCEPT Green Bay. If he defeats Green Bay tomorrow night, that would be awesome!

Good Sunday to yall. I am sure that all of us wish we could be with Cowdoc in cold, blustery and snowy Idaho doing what he does to cattle. Instead we are just lounging around.
This week I am listing the Denver-Dallas game as a toss-up as 14 of us have Dallas while 12 have Denver.
We are unanimous in picking Indy, Cincy and SF. We would all agree in picking the Giants, but George NEVER picks the Giants. He would bet against them even if they had a bye week.
Alex and Maporsche have Detroit over Chicago. I thought I read that the latter was moving to Chicago soon.
Oakland gets the nod over Houston from Jespah, Clubber and Rhyss.

Johnboy and Ragman agree with the majority in all 13 games (excluding the toss-up). They disagree in the Cowboys-Broncos game. A bunch of other folks drift away from the majority in 1 or 2 games.
And then there is George. He disagrees with the majority in 6 games, 4 of them being early games. We'll know how smart he is in around 4 hours.

I hope Ms Cowdoc has joined or will join us. Good luck to all and thanks for playing!

The early games are finally over with. The Bengals beat the Browns just before the end of a full quarter of overtime. Cincy could have one in regulation after tying the score at 20-20, but they missed the PAT.
I thought I had a rule allowing foreigners to play this game but precluding them from being any good at it. Through 8 NFL games, Ehbeth and Spedius are flawless. Well done. 10 players have been wrong once. Alex has missed on 4 games.

Anybody here? 12 games over with. 11 of them boring. The Broncos-Cowboys game ended the day games with some excitement.
Spendius is at 11-1. But don't start celebrating at the pub yet, dude. I have no fewer than 8 other players who could win this outright or force the tie, depending on the remaining 2 games. Jespah, Region, Fox, Liontamerx, Cowdoc, JPinMilw, JPB and Rhyss.
(Tico is out of contention with 3 wrong).

Spendius goes into tonight's game with just one miss. He has Green Bay so if the Packers win, he wins.
Region, Fox, Cowdoc and JPinMilw have missed on 2 games each. They have Minnesota. A Vikings win will throw them into a tie with Spendius.
Ehbeth and Fbaezer also have only 2 wrong picks but they have Green Bay and can't catch Spendius.
Final score predictions from the contenders: Region (31-21); Fox (17-14); Cowdoc (31-21); JPinMilw (28-17); Spendius (31-15).

I'm getting the picture that some of my friends on this thread will be watching tonight's game with slightly more attention than usual.

Up the Vikings. 40 points worth.
