@Gargamel,
There is a certain amount of intelligence required in the making of buttons. Do you really think that H20 Man is capable of button making?

@Intrepid,
Putting the words waterboy and intelligence on the same paragraph/page is an oxymoron. I would think it would depend whether it's a one hole or two hole button. LOL

You don't want to know. It just shows how low waterboy can sink. This is below even him. I would not doubt that he is a charter member.

I don't have to mow the lawn because I let it dry up and die; I was hoping waterboy would meet the same fate. LOL

@H2O MAN,

WASHINGTON - As Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin prepares for the next stage of her political career, a majority of Americans hold an unfavorable view of her, and there is broad public doubt about her leadership skills and understanding of complex issues, according to a new Washington Post-ABC News poll.

Last year's Republican vice presidential nominee remains a deeply polarizing figure, and there are warning signs for her as she emerges as a possible contender for the 2012 GOP presidential nomination. While she is still widely popular among those in her party, she has lost ground among Republicans generally and among the white evangelicals who are so critical in the early presidential primaries.

Overall, the new poll found that 53 percent of Americans view Palin negatively and 40 percent see her in positive terms, her lowest level in Post-ABC polling since she first appeared on the national stage last summer as Sen. John McCain's running mate.

@Intrepid,
But if Sarah Palin hadn't run in the first place we wouldn't have the Katie Couric interview in which Palin provided us with the most idiotic and poorly formed answers that I've ever heard come from a political figure. I'm sure she's got more good stuff in store for us Smile

@rosborne979,
I would think it's assured we'll see more of the same from Sarah Palin if given the "opportunity" to appear on tv.

What is so edifying about Sarah Palin showing up on tv is the simple fact that even with her inability to give intelligent answers, many conservatives still feel she's up to becoming our president.

It's one of those 'we should be crying and laughing at the same time' kind of moment.

@cicerone imposter,
As a good reminder why Palin is way above her head on American politics, here's the Couric-Palin interview:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Vbg6hF0nShQ

"I'll get the answer, and bring it back to ya."
However, the real question is what has she really answered during this whole interview? Maybe, somebody more astute can show us.

Palin the Idiot.
Palin the Vapid Slut.
Palin the Inconsequential.
Palin the Bitch Who Cost McCain the Election.
Palin Who We (Lefties) Hope Will Run in 2012

And yet we are at 26 pages of comments about her in one of many Palin focused threads on A2K.

Whats-Her-Face McKinney, GA-D Representative, is, clearly, an idiot, inconsequential and someone I would love to see run in 2012, and yet how many threads have been devoted to her?

Palin is a threat to Lefties or we wouldn't be discussing her.

(The alternative conclusion is that Lefties are mean spirited clods who insist on picking on the defenseless. Come to think of it, they have made fun of Trigg Palin.)

Oh come on.

Palin the most recent Republican Veep candidate.
Palin the Republican politician mentioned by most GOP voters as their preferred candidate for 2012.
Palin the most talked about GOP politician on conservative websites and in conservative media.

Cynthia McKinney the uhm... nobody. Last seen as presidential candidate for the Green Party, getting 0,1% of the vote.

Are you really saying that the reason why one has a long thread devoted to her and the other doesn't must be because of lefty fears or obsessions or political bias? How does that make any sense?

As long as Sarah Palin is the most talked about conservative politician in the media, including Fox, and on the conservative sites; as long as she is leading the polls for the GOP primaries in 2012; she will also be the most discussed conservative politician here.

If I were an intelligent conservative I'd be a little annoyed by that too, but you know - you get the figurehead your base throws up. What is left of popular Republicanism apparently wants Palin to be the face of today's conservatism too. Good luck with that.

I don't get the Palin thing at all--she was clearly an electoral liability for McCain, and she's got nothing to offer on her record. If no one else is being mentioned, is that because intelligent conservatives despair of finding a good candidate?
