We ARE the NRA puppetmasters.

Maid Marian Hammer seems to be a counter to your above opinion. he serves up bills for her congressman to ubmit so they keep their campaign donation stream continuously flowing.

They'd use other weapons if they didn't have guns though, so there would be no real change
Does your head hurt after composing that profound but of reason? You are our new Descarte.

@oralloy,
you actually believe she listen's to the membership. SHe's claimed how he thinks up policy and bills.
When is the last time she spoke with you??

You could just look at homicide rates as they relate to gun ownership and note the absence of correlation.
one variable that is so FOS is that there is even a variable of"gun ownership"
The number only keeps climbing

Another way this gun culture is killing: police officers scared for their lives and shooting at any black man holding any object that could be miqunderstood as a gun.

Stephan Clark was holding only his cellphone when he was fatally shot in his own backyard Sunday night by two Sacramento police officers who fired at him 20 times, the department said Tuesday.

Isn't that some messed up ****? They fired 20 bullets into him... It's a ridiculous event that should have never happened.

@Olivier5,
I love how the title only tell part of the story. He was seen trying to break into a neighbors house, he jumped the fence, encounted police and ignored commands in the front yard and fled to the back yard where he was seen with an object that he "raised" in their direction, they fired.

Now that sounds a lot different then just being in the back yard and being shot by police, doesn't it.

@Baldimo,
Interesting. I heard the police were looking for someone that was breaking car windows and as they were searching for that person, they ran into the victim and pumped him full of lead. I will have to look further into it.

Even so, you think that their response of 20 rounds fired isn't a tad much? They are trained police officers wearing body armor...

Link above now has the bodycam video in it. You should watch it.

Yet it will keep happening again and again, like mass killings and school shootings and all this ****... For freedom sodding sake.
