@MontereyJack,
Actually I was introduced to the poem through the second book of Jack L. Chalker's Four Lords of the Diamond series.

"and when Qwin recites a Lewis Carroll poem in front of him, it places Wagant under Qwin's complete control"

@MontereyJack,
You falsely accuse people of racism because you can't defend your ideology with facts or logic.

For the record:

Quote:
I want to apologize to Chris Cooper for my actions when I encountered him in Central Park yesterday. I reacted emotionally and made false assumptions about his intentions when, in fact, I was the one who was acting inappropriately by not having my dog on a leash.

@oralloy,
No false accusation. Your repeated absurd illogic and defamatory name-calling re BLM prove my correctness.

@MontereyJack,
Wrong again. When you lie about people, that is a false accusation.

There is nothing even remotely defamatory about posting actual facts about BLM goons.

Good thing for him that she called the police instead of pulling a gun.

Have you given any thought to what's going to happen the next time when the scared person is going to be afraid to call the police?

Of course you haven't. When has a progressive ever thought ahead to how their policies destroy the world. Progressives would turn America into Venezuela if they could.

when you lie that truth is a lie,, that's a false accusation. That's what you're doing.

@oralloy,
So you continue to advocate murdering innocent people even when their accuser pleads for forgiveness because she was wrong. It isn't progressives that are destroying the country, it's gun "rights" zealots.

@MontereyJack,
I'm not the one who is making people feel that they have to shoot threatening people instead of calling the police.

YOU are the one who is doing that.

What I'm doing is saying that you are wrong to do that.

Self defense is hardly murder, btw.

That is incorrect. By lynching people for calling the police, you are making people afraid to call the police.

@oralloy,
calling an action lynching inevitably has racist connotations. She admitted she was wrong. Making false calls to 911 or the cops is a crime. Chris TOLD her to callk 911/cops. She did, and she committed what is apparently a crime thereby. That's on her. It takes away resources needed to deal with actual threats rather than hysterical ones. And you remain the one who says people should murder innocent people for making innocent statements that they hysaterically mistake for threats.

That is incorrect. Progressives are the cancer. My vote for Mr. Trump helps prevent progressives from harming people.

If you don't want to be called out for lynching someone, don't lynch people.

MontereyJack wrote:

She did not make a false call. Everything that she said was true.

MontereyJack wrote:

Try to think ahead to the consequences of your lynching of innocent people. Making it a crime for people to call the police when a strange man is menacing them is going to lead to what reaction from people who are menaced by a strange man?

MontereyJack wrote:

Your lynching of innocent people is on you.

MontereyJack wrote:

It is usually better for the police to sort out misunderstandings instead of having them end in gunfire.

YOU are the one who is making sure that such misunderstandings will end in gunfire.

I'm the one who is saying that it is better for the police to sort out such misunderstandings.

And self defense isn't murder.
