@farmerman,
If you have spent any time working for any form of govt, you would realize she violated several laws. Having just one classified doc where it isn't suppose to be is enough to bring charges. While some of the doc's that were there were classified afterwards, there were still a bunch that were classified before they ended up on her server.
Quote:For example, seven e-mail chains concern matters that were classified at the Top Secret/Special Access Program level when they were sent and received.
Now the question they didn't get to the bottom of, how those emails made it from the secured network to the unsecured network? There is zero connection between these networks and information can't be moved between them, unless they are either copied to a storage device, which is a violation, or they were printed out and then photo copied into an e-document again, which is also a violation.
Comey laid out the case, then punted and said they would have a hard time finding her a prosecutor to actually do their job.
Quote:Although there is evidence of potential violations of the statutes regarding the handling of classified information, our judgment is that no reasonable prosecutor would bring such a case.
The only reason he said this is because it was Hillary Clinton and she was running for President. If this were you or me, we would be sitting in jail right now with a guilty plea. Hillary Clinton was associated with or worked for the Federal govt in one capacity or another for over 20 years, she knew the protocols and had training to understand how to handle classified information, she and her staff disregarded those protocols and rules for whatever reason, intent has zero meaning when it comes to govt security. There was a Marine who took a picture of an area of a submarine that wasn't suppose to be photographed, he took the picture for his own memory, because he was a guard on the sub. He was put in jail because he took that photo, he also threw away the cellphone that had the picture on it, when the FBI started asking questions, he got more time for that. Hillary's people smashed cellphones with hammers before they could be handed over to the FBI, why aren't those people in trouble for destroying evidence?
We already know her supporters won't see the facts of the case. One of the people here who claims to have worked on such systems has refused to discuss the questions about moving info between the secured and unsecured networks, she knows the rules and laws were violated but won't admit it.
