So how does the AR-15 live up to that definition?

Insisting that I accept a term that incorrectly defines a rifle is asking me to bow down/bend over because I'm told to do so.

I'm not opposed to background checks and a ban on large capacity magazines. There's already regulations in place. If those in the position of enforcing those regulations fail to do so, take it up with them.

My position has evolved a bit. I'm currently of the opinion that all new gun laws should be opposed until the unconstitutional bans on pistol grips are all repealed and progressives pay compensation to everyone whose civil liberties they've violated for no reason.

Progressives should choose which is more important to them, saving lives or violating people's civil liberties for fun.
