Deal with the fact that you aren't getting any new gun laws passed through Congress.

Sociopathy much?

Not at all. Progressives deserve to helplessly watch while nothing is done to stop the massacres.

I just enjoying seeing people get what they deserve.

@Walter Hinteler,
Quote:

The term “assault rifle” comes from the literal translation of the name given to the first weapon that fit the definition. The MP-44, or Sturmgewehr as it was dubbed by Adolf Hitler (literally “assault rifle” in German), was a rifle designed by the Nazis in 1944 that delivered the firepower of a machine gun in a man-portable sized package.

The two main features that contributed to the benefit of the firearm on the battlefield were select fire capability and a detachable magazine.

So how does the AR-15 live up to that definition?

No one is telling you to bend over.

Insisting that I accept a term that incorrectly defines a rifle is asking me to bow down/bend over because I'm told to do so.

I'm not opposed to background checks and a ban on large capacity magazines. There's already regulations in place. If those in the position of enforcing those regulations fail to do so, take it up with them.

My position has evolved a bit. I'm currently of the opinion that all new gun laws should be opposed until the unconstitutional bans on pistol grips are all repealed and progressives pay compensation to everyone whose civil liberties they've violated for no reason.

Progressives should choose which is more important to them, saving lives or violating people's civil liberties for fun.

@MontereyJack,
When you pass a law outlawing pistol grips on semi-auto rifles, the law is all about banning pistol grips on semi-auto rifles.

So, no new gun laws for you.

Please be sure to engage in lots of hysterics whenever there is a massacre so that I can have fun laughing at you.

@oralloy,
I guess I'm having trouble with why pistol grips is the line in the sand for you. Some civil liberties have been curtailed for the general welfare of the union.

Why is this one "the one"?

Pages upon pages of insults solves NOTHING.

Grow up, put your big boy pants on and figure out solutions instead of being a general PITA.

I will not accept having these progressives violate people's civil liberties.

If a restriction passes muster with strict scrutiny, then that restriction is not a violation of our civil liberties.

neptuneblue wrote:

Because it wantonly violates our civil liberties.
