The pathetic aspect is that if the sore-assed victim had enough mechanical aptitude to manually chamber a round in a firearm, instead of having to rely on the blowback or recoil energy of a semi-automatic, the fearful individual wouldn't feel that his civil right was threatened in the first place.

Why do you feel that access to semi-automatic weapons is the criterion for your civil liberty? You ought to be grateful to be allowed to purchase a shotgun, revolver, or lever-action firearm, not whining about how the evil liberals want to ban high capacity semi-auto military-styled weapons with pistol grips.
