Volvo solved its ugly-car problem by firing all their designers and hiring Japanese design experts.

If I were the king of England I'd do the same thing with my problem with I-slam i.e. hire somebody like Isoroku Yamamoto to handle it.
I neither asked about carmakers nor religion but about the NHS and what personal they've got.

So you think, the NHS should engage Japanese doctors and nurses?

(Thomas Ingenlath, btw, Volvo's SVP of design, is German, Peter D. Horbury, Volvo's Vice President Design, is British)

@gungasnake,
And regarding your fake about religion and citizenship in Japan: the Japanese government does not inquire about religion. (> see official website)

Sorry, gunga, for giving facts again.

@Walter Hinteler,
If Gunga were king of England there'd be revolution that would make 1789 look like a walk in the park. I know the Royal family are a bit inbred, but that's really taking the piss.

He really is incredibly ignorant if he thinks the monarchy can do anything about our laws other than sign them into effect. Then again he's trotted out a load of nonsense about knives being banned over here, and cannot understand a simple concept like evolution. Do you think he went to school? I doubt it.

Similar when there were those claims about the "power" of the mayor of London.

The Japanese government does not grant citizenship easily if at all, that is a fact.

From your link. This is some sort of proof?

65 people out of nearly 20, ooo? Is that what immigration should be? That sounds good to me. If countries only let 65 people in a year we would not have the problems we do.

Why are you mixing refugees (asylum seekers) with immigration?

In 2016, 731 Germans emigrated to Japan, between 2005 and 2015 the number was 5,987.

Pardon me again. 10 years and 6,000 people is still a very reasonable number. It prevents any cultural changes, which is the object. Japan wants to stay Japanese. Germans and British are not allowed that option.

@coldjoint,
Personally, I would consider language difficulties to be something because they avoid to immigrate there.
Perhaps, many think other countries to be better as their new homeland. (Switzerland and Austria are the most liked immigration countries for Germans.)

A quick search will give a name ...

But actually immigration is a topic as well - how did firearms arrive in America, you think?

Thieving Thug Attempts To Rob 23-Year-Old Woman, Gets Horrific Surprise

Once again, the 2nd Amendment pulls its own weight. A woman in Raleigh, North Carolina is safe after being assaulted by a violent thug. Had she not been prepared to fight back, her family could be visiting her in the hospital this week or even planning a funeral for her. The bottom line here is that an armed society is a just society, and Peace finally got what was coming to him.

Of course makes perfect sense to restrict firearms from an event attended by the vice president of the United States. Fewer guns means the Secret Service can better protect Pence - a similar argument made by many parents about safeguarding their children.

That policy would make sense for schools that have a competent team of guards to protect their kids as effectively as the Secret Service protects the Vice President.

It doesn't make a lot of sense for schools that have minimal security and provide little to no protection for their kids.

True. If a system allows people to carry their weapons openly without being hassled, that system can forbid carrying them concealed.

But if the system says that open carry is forbidden and only concealed carry is allowed, then it has to make concealed carry available to the general populace.

States have to allow people to carry somehow. They can choose the how, but they have to allow it to happen in some form.

They could even mandate open carry with long guns instead of handguns, so long as they let people walk around in public with an AR-15 slung over their shoulder.
