@ehBeth,
Hey dear folksies

Beth & PaPaHamburger:

A Song of the Lilac

Above the wall that's broken,
And from the coppice thinned,
So sacred and so sweet
The lilac in the wind!
And when by night the May wind blows
The lilac-blooms apart,
The memory of his first love
Is shaken on his heart.

In tears it long was buried,
And trances wrapt it round;
O how they wake it now,
The fragrance and the sound!
For when by night the May wind blows
The lilac-blooms apart,
The memory of his first love
Is shaken on his heart.

@danon5,
Hey Dan....

If its the cause of her pain - it will be super relief.

Try not to worry re the surgery. Let Patti know there may some shoulder pain after, where the wind (whatever they blow in yer tummy) can often get trapped - it's nothing at all to worry about - it just can take you by surprise if you're not expecting it. (apols if you know this already)... hands across tummy over a pillow to cough. Keep gentle coughing every so often, keeps the lungs in check after the intubation.

3 little scars and their story to tell. Best wishes to you both - and will be thinking of you on Monday. x

@Izzie,
Beautiful sentiments, Iz.

Hugs to Beth and Mr Hamburger

Dan, good luck to your Pattie and healing thoughts for Monday.

News:

All our prayers sent to Florida for Alisha worked! Her 17th Birthday's near, and for the past year her mom was told by docs the debilitaing affects of the car accident would cause her to be paralized and comotose for the rest of her life.

Wellllllllll, Alisha chats, sits up, laughs, and is recovering. Very Happy

@Izzie,
Thanks Izzie, sounds like the voice of experience. The surgeon explained all the possibles - including the air and it's effects. Thanks for the advice, I'll pass it on to Patti.

Thanks Stradee and ehBeth for your thoughts.

I'm confident that all will go well and after approx a couple of weeks Patti will be in great shape. This has been going on for years and it's about time the Docs found it. We've been telling them it's the gallbladder for years but nothing.

Happy weekend all.

Hi Mr. hamburger - I think about you each day.

@danon5,
Good evening all.

Danced and clicked.

Hope that Danon and Patti and the pillow are doing well tonight.

It was good to spend time with hamburger this weekend. I think all three of us feel better for it.

Talked to him again tonight. He really has some wonderful wonderful friends. It is nice to think about that.

Hi all. Patti is home now and recovering. She had FIVE lap probes so as one may expect it hurts. But, I can see she is getting better quickly. Thanks again for the advice, Izzie.

@ehBeth,
Searched for photos of white puffy cloud formations and none do justice to the awsome view from the corridor - storm clouds over the Sierra's.

Yesterday, tropical rain - today a bit cooler and storms for Tahoe.

Beth, sending a hot lunch of Seitan, squash, greens and garnish Smile

@Izzie,
Quite a storm last night!

Began with a few claps of thunder, then lightening strobs that lasted well over a half hour - amazing - then heavy duty rain and winds.

Babies said 'no friggin' way' finding refuge underneath the couch, all except Amanda {19 yrs) who wasn't the least bit worried (age rewards) and me in awe {per usual} of the power of nature

Today more rain - warm temps

Perfect day for preparing food....Smile

@Stradee,
Thanks for the hugs to Patti from CA, Stradee. And, thanks for all the best wishes from everyone. She is slowly getting better. Her throat is sore and one of the scar sites is red. We are trying to take care of it all.

Yet, another tree a grinnin - passed by.
