@sumac,
sumac! so good to see you here. I have been worried about you ever since those storms started running through your area. I hope you and all of your furry companions are well and warm.

listening to Gilbert and Sullivan on the c.d. player - found some wonderful stuff at Goodwill on my last run-through (drop-off in front, then <oops> run in to see ... and drag out the treasures Laughing just remember it's reduce, re-use and recycle!)

No bad storms here, but have been out of state and computer contact as well. Good to be back. I look forward to the new thread, Danon.

@danon5,
Glad to hear that your holiday went well, too. This one has made up for all of the surgeries I had last year. I can't believe how great this one was. It is so cold here you can't think straight. It was in the teens this morning. Oh lord, the weatherman is calling for snow, changing to rain. I'm in the North-East corridor in the Mid-Atlantic States. Not quite New England. New England begins in Connecticut and I'm in New Jersey, but close to everything!

My resolutions? Downsize some more, get my apartment in ship shape, give more to charity, volunteer more, if the Lord is willing, but seriously, I'll just do the best I can and continue to be kinder to everyone. I find being pleasant a hell of a lot easier than being a lemon! It's contagious how a smile or kind word affects people. I learned to value everything, no matter how small.
Being awfully sick taught me that nothing is promised to you, so savor every moment.

God Bless All The Clickers, Now and Always! Happy New Year!
