@margo,
Well, it just has to be an improvement on the black plastic dustbin that I bought her last year!

A man who will get to know her well enough that's he not obliged to ask such a stupid question.

I think I see your problem. It's the colour - black is just not very festive!

@chotki,
Jewelry like a real ruby or emerald ring. A simple style, don't get elaborate with the setting. Don't bother with lab created. Or look on the internet and get her a mink or beaver scarf or wrap, if your climate permits. Clothing is always a risk. Perfume is risky, she may not like the scent.

@Nom de plume,
How about a Ph.D. from one of the universities in cyber space. (from a 1,000 bucks).

@chotki,
If she knows how to use the TV remote, get her an iPad.
Never give her something that would suggest she needs self-improvement, e.g. workout equipment or videos. (Although a day of pampering at a spa/salon might do the trick). Don't give her something that you might use more than she. Best maybe to ask her girlfriends.

@chotki,
There is still some time away from Christmas this year. You have enough time to know what she wants best. That would be a great Christmas gift for her. Smile

Christmas gifts already?

OK, after giving it more than thirty seconds thought, I am buying my better half a new pair of washing up gloves, and a cookery book I saw the other day entitled "How To Cook Edible Things For A Change".

She'll be over the moon.

Ah, the season of giving.

Oh......Rudolph the red nosed reindeer.....had a very shiny nose.....

@Lordyaswas,
If it was Roger's it wouldn't have seen a lot of use.

@connieli,
I think what you need to know is that the OP has been absent from this site for 5 years. Perhaps you might check a post's datestamp or else risk attempting to talk to a ghost.
