But you can certainly be discouraged from posting because of it.

Yup, agreed on that. One has to become very philosphical in their outlook on their activities due to that.

I don't care about ratings. The more I'm voted down the better I like it. Fancy being approved of by this lot. Perish the thought.

The problem is, with the present system, one can not 100% tell if it is truly a "vote down" or just a "collapse" post or thread.

I find that I am posting much much less now. I refuse to get into political or religious pissing contests. So when I do post, it is usually something interesting, but benign, that I would like to share with you all.

This may have started when Noddy died. She and I had such wonderful things to say to each other, and we were always yakking it up. It just is not there any more! Crying or Very sad
