Since Dys hard a hard night the night before last, I spent the night in his room.
Poor Sally was almost wild with the need to go outside.

Dys is doing as well as expected. He is still very weak, but eating well, which deserves a badge of duty above and beyond the call of duty, seeing that it's hospital food.

Now I'm home for a while to get some real sleep before going back to the hospital.

You all will get an update probably late tonight.

The cowboy is hanging in.

@Diane,
Was to telephone yesterday; thought better of it without recent update, glad to wait a while longer as patient and primary caregiver recuperate a bit more.

@PDiddie,
I'm up for a few minutes to let out the dog and want to let all of you know that Dys would love calls and emails. Don't hesitate, he is lonely and is being poked and proded. blood taken, vitals checked with nothing much in between. He is pretty miserable with no real stimulation and no one to talk to for so many times during the day.

Don't worry, he will tell you if he needs to go to sleep, but you know how Dys loves to talk. It's been like everything has been taken away from him except every unpleasant test imaginable.

Call. Email. He needs communication and to be thought of.

Love you all.

Just talked to the cowboy on the telephone. He sounded so good that I accussed him of faking the entire thing.

How strange to have found this poem by him at the same time that Flutter By was talking to the animals.

I'm sure going to spend time at that site, Butryfly.

Talked to Dys a bit ago, so far so good. His going home is dependent on his "vitals", including oxygen percentage - which he's doing well at, lung xrays, and the bladder infection.

I'm promising him pasta with clam sauce, soon.

Anyway, he sounded good.

@dyslexia,
That would be a good reason to be feeling weak and tired. I was amazed at how much better I felt after my blood transfusions and bags of iron and potassium.

Gawd, I hope they don't need to redo the catheter. Those things are instruments of torture!

Fred is sure going to give you an ear full about missing you.
