@Foxfyre,
I was treated extremely well as Pres, I doubt if it was more than 3 minutes from the time i was at the ER door until I was in bed in a ER room, some staff followed me into the room immediately attaching the electrode monitor thingys and the IV. I have no complaints whatsoever re my treatment. (Probably helped that the referring Doc was the cardio specialist just upstairs.) Sorry if my post indicated any dissatisfaction with my care.

So, I'm glad I ignored you and drove you to the hospital, despite your appeals otherwise.

I love you more than life itself and I have endless respect for you, but if it ever appears that you need to stay in a hospital, I will again ignore you.

been there, done that.

@dyslexia,
No, I usually don't have any problem with the quality of care at Pres either, and yes, possibly heart patients do get the quick VIP treatment. It was just that they are sending patients home prematurely that is the problem, and that is because of the critical shortage of beds. You should have been admitted until they had a diagnosis. And my sister should have stayed there until they had a diagnosis.

There is a great Mayo Clinic in Scottsdale with adjacent hotel - not too far from ABQ.

As if you needed that excuse to come visit.

But then again, I haven't liked you for some time now.
thanks, I mean it.

@dyslexia,
Is he already running again for 2012?

Glad things worked out as well as they did and that you had the original appointment with the therapist. Otherwise, would you have known?

(Taking note to leave socks on during next doctor visit to assist with blood pressure readings)

went to see my primary doc ye sterday, the nurse came in first and did my vitals; BP 173/117, then my doc came in, read my vitals and started talking to me about having to put her motorpsycho in the garage for the winter and how the nice warm weather has fooled the rattlesnakes into coming out of hybernation.
She took my BP again and it was 143/105 and she said that was to be expected as I was taking both a beta-blocker and a beta-antagonist and that results in BP spikes and had been noted by the Cardio-Pulminologist where he stated he probably over-reacted by admitting me to the ER. She increased my BP meds by double and told me I had gained 4 lbs and looked good for the shape i'm in.
On the way home lady Diane and I stopped into the Italian place where we both had pasta/mussels, pretty good. For brekkies this morning I had corned-beef hash and eggies followed by a slice of apple pie.

@dyslexia,
I told The Lady Diane that she's got to stop dancing naked in front of Dys if she wants to lower his blood pressure. She whacked me on my head for my advice.
