Alarmed and then relieved as the events of the past couple of days played out on the thread.

Continued good wishes to Bob and Diane for improvements yet to be reported.

Very Happy Wonderful news, Diane! And it's just great to hear you sounding so happy & relieved! (Phew, indeed!)

Here's hoping for more of the same sort of news over the coming days & weeks!

@msolga,
Great news indeed. Lady Di... take much care of yourself whilst Dys recovers. Hospitals/rehab can be dysenchanting, but the PT's can make all the difference to coming home - an extra 24-48 hours ...

Please send my love to the 'ole cowboy.

Love to you, Osso, BBB and those who are helping you out. I'm so glad you have folk there to help. TAKE CARE! BE GIDDY... don't fall down tho! Wink Great news for you.

Wow, Diane, yours was the first post I read this morning -- what a great way to start the day! (You sound wonderfully energized -- so glad your worries have been eased.) As others have said, as much as Dys wants to get home, and you want him there, please encourage him not to rush it; take advantage of the therapy offered in the hospital to make the transition home that much easier. (Kudos to the "support staff" in Albaturkey for all their efforts.)

@Diane,
Di- I am so happy that things are turning out well. Dys is quite a tough old codger. Give him a kiss for me!

I'd tell ya to tell the ole guy that I love him...but that would probably cause a relapse.

So just tell him I been keepin' him in my thoughts.

Yay! Bob says it is fine to give out his last name. He mentioned getting emails from Eva and Walter/Ulla, touches from the outside world that meant the world to him.

Robert Wells

and I'll follow with the information Buttrfly researched a few days ago...

=================================================
Address: 1100 Central Ave SE, Albuquerque NM 87106

Hours: 24 hours a day

Phone: (505) 841-1234

Visiting Presbyterian Hospitals
Visiting Hours are from 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.

Find a patient's room number and directions at the Welcome Center near the main entrance.

==================================================

He's been busy this morning having tubes removed--nmot pleasant, but nice to have extra freedom to move aroundl.

I'll come back tonight to let you all know how the animals are doing. Believe me, they have definitely been affected by all this, Sally much moreso than Dante or Fred (who, i'm afraid, has become a Republic,sob.).

And Frank, you old codger. You and Dys should have a contest one day to see who has the most codgerliness. Not sure who I would bet on. LOL

More later.

Ha! I thought I knew his last name, but I got it wrong.
If there's someone with the name I thought at the hospital, they're gonna
wonder what the hell I'm talking about.
...not a new thing, by the way...

@Diane,
Thanks, Diane!

His doing very well ... under the drugs, they gave him, I suppose.

There's WiFi in the room, so dys might be online shortly (if he gets the laptop, that is).

It would be great if Dys joined some A2K discussions while waiting for therapy.
