Palin is a Train Wreck Waiting to Happen

Good grief. I hope that the women of this country who think that having her in office will be a step in the right direction for women will get their heads out of their asses.

She is Bush in lipstick. She's a flip flop. I can't stand her. I want to punch her in the mouth.

Just what we need in this country....a Bush in a skirt.

No reason to start this thread other than to voice my strong dislike for this woman.

If you hate Palin the Pitbull Wannabe, please let us know Wink.

@Bella Dea,
any woman who would remove someones right to birthcontrol should be a red flag for any REAL woman.

@Bella Dea,
I don't hate her personally but I have two overriding thoughts about her:

1) If she becomes vp or, heaven forbid, president, she will set us back for generations. We need our first woman vp/president to be competent and set the bar. If she becomes the first woman vp/president, she may very well be the last for a long time to come.

2) The lip smacking when she delivers her stump speech attacks is getting on my nerves. I didn't notice it in the convention speech, but the more I hear her talk the more she reminds me of a high school alpha girl. And dear god, please somebody write her some new lines.

How can you dislike someone so much that:
A - Shot a moose
B - Can read from a teleprompter
C - Saw Russia once
D - Got a D in macroeconomics Shocked ( oh God help us! )
E - Looks good in high heels
F - And wears nice lipstick?

What the heck are ya'll thinking????

@Bella Dea,
I 'm voting for her, hoping that she will become President.
She is associated with the libertarian Republicans of Alaska
(anti-liberal and pro-freedom) and supports freedom of possession of guns.
She is a Good American

@ebrown p,
I just added this to my sig line holding pen:

"You're caught between a rock and a hard place with Sarah Palin as a critic. Because if you describe her accurately, there's no way you can do that and not sound condescending because she's not very bright about matters that a person in this position should be bright about. And she's completely not ready to take over this job." -- Bill Maher

@sozobe,
She was bright enuf
to get elected Governor of America 's largest State
and have the best approval rating of any State Governor.
How many of us can claim that ?

Maher 'd be more convincing in his condescension
if HE had been elected governor of a giant State.

@OmSigDAVID,
If I handed out checks for more than a thousand dollars (instead of saving the money for a rainy-day fund when the cost of oil goes down, as intended), I'd be pretty popular, too.

I don't think she's downright dumb. I think she's smart in some areas.

I think that she is nowhere near ready to be vice president or president, though.

Obama is a lot LESS ready than she is, having done nothing.
Maybe u 'll vote for a 3rd party candidate ?

He's done plenty.

But this is a rehash of a rehashed rehash.

Back to chicks who don't dig Sarah...

The scariest thing to me is that I think she's hilarous. She's like a prody of Alaskan womanhood.

I keep waiting for someone to jump up and say "Haha. Gotcha!"

The fact that it isn't a joke scares the bejesus out of me.

@sozobe,
With a slew of Republican women far more ready for the vice-presidency than Palin - listed by Sozobe in some earlier a2k post - I see her at best as a campaign choice of doubtful wisdom, and at my most sarcastic as a walking lampoon.

It might be useful for the country to have her in the running so that issues can be discussed, but I've fear that she will obtain the within-a-heartbeat position.

@ossobuco,
Actually, osso, there are plenty women in this country ready to become president. It's very obvious to most who take the time to listen to Palin knows, she's not ready for most jobs that will affect millions of people. Her background, knowledge base, and intelligence just isn't there.

Alaska and Alaskans are a bad example of why she were put into government office. Here again, people just need to learn her background about what she did in these positions, and it becomes readily obvious she shouldn't have held those positions in the first place.

Some people are just plain ignorant of who they vote for.
