It's Obama who should discourage people at McCain and Palin assemblies"from yelling out 'kill him'" et cetera. Those yellers are actually Obama plants. While Obama is at it, he should discourage his Obama gang members from slandering McCain and Palin.

Do you have any evidence for this?

Of course not, why did I even ask?

McCain and Palin are politicians, not babies; they can deal with Slander from the other side without help from anyone.

@Cycloptichorn,
Cyclo, Did you know that Palin is an Obama plant? That's about the most reasonable option, because Palin is doing such a yeoman's job of destroying McCain and the conservatives.

@cicerone imposter,
Nah. Palin is a McCain plant made up to look like an Obama plant so that Obama will be discredited for thinking he could stoop to such a low-down trick to pull the wool over college educated American's and get away with it and thus demonstrate his low opinion of the voters which is even evident in the way he walks.

A Charles Krauthammer column that I think Conservatives/Republicans/McCain supporters ought to memorize. Finally the conservative voice is beginning to say the truth. The only racism apparent in this election comes from Obama's surrogates/supporters/MSM and Obama himself:

Quote:
October 17, 2008
Who's Playing the Race Card?
By Charles Krauthammer

WASHINGTON -- Let me get this straight. A couple of agitated yahoos in a rally of thousands yell something offensive and incendiary, and John McCain and Sarah Palin are not just guilty by association -- with total strangers, mind you -- but worse: guilty according to The New York Times of "race-baiting and xenophobia."

But should you bring up Barack Obama's real associations -- 20 years with Jeremiah Wright, working on two foundations and distributing money with William Ayers, citing the raving Michael Pfleger as one who helps him keep his moral compass (Chicago Sun-Times, April 2004) and the long-standing relationship with the left-wing vote-fraud specialist ACORN -- you have crossed the line into illegitimate guilt by association. Moreover, it is tinged with racism.

The fact that, when John McCain actually heard one of those nasty things said about Obama, he incurred the boos of his own crowd by insisting that Obama is "a decent person that you do not have to be scared (of) as president" makes no difference. It surely did not stop John Lewis from comparing McCain to George Wallace.

The search for McCain's racial offenses is untiring and often unhinged. Remember McCain's Berlin/celebrity ad that showed a shot of Paris Hilton? An appalling attempt to exploit white hostility at the idea of black men "becoming sexually involved with white women," fulminated New York Times columnist Bob Herbert. He took to TV to denounce McCain's exhumation of that most vile prejudice, pointing out McCain's gratuitous insertion in the ad of "two phallic symbols," the Washington Monument and the Leaning Tower of Pisa.

Except that Herbert was entirely delusional. There was no Washington Monument. There was no Leaning Tower. Just photographs seen in every newspaper in the world of Barack Obama's Berlin rally in the setting he himself had chosen, Berlin's Victory Column.

Herbert is not the only fevered one. On Tuesday night, Rachel Maddow of MSNBC and Jonathan Alter of Newsweek fell over themselves agreeing that the "political salience" of the Republican attack on ACORN is, yes, its unstated appeal to racial prejudice.

This about an organization that is being accused of voter registration fraud in about a dozen states. In Nevada, the investigating secretary of state is a Democrat. Is he playing the race card too?

What makes the charges against McCain especially revolting is that he has been scrupulous in eschewing the race card. He has gone far beyond what is right and necessary, refusing even to make an issue of Obama's deep, self-declared connection with the race-baiting Jeremiah Wright.

In the name of racial rectitude, McCain has denied himself the use of that perfectly legitimate issue. It is simply Orwellian for him to be now so widely vilified as a stoker of racism. What makes it doubly Orwellian is that these charges are being made on behalf of the one presidential candidate who has repeatedly, and indeed quite brilliantly, deployed the race card.

How brilliantly? The reason Bill Clinton is sulking in his tent is because he feels that Obama surrogates succeeded in painting him as a racist. Clinton has many sins, but from his student days to his post-presidency, his commitment and sincerity in advancing the cause of African-Americans have been undeniable. If the man Toni Morrison called the first black president can be turned into a closet racist, then anyone can.

And Obama has shown no hesitation in doing so to McCain. Just weeks ago, in Springfield, Mo., and elsewhere, he warned darkly that George Bush and John McCain were going to try to frighten you by saying that, among other scary things, Obama has "a funny name" and "doesn't look like all those other presidents on those dollar bills."

McCain has never said that, nor anything like that. When asked at the time to produce one instance of McCain deploying race, the Obama campaign could not. Yet here was Obama firing a pre-emptive charge of racism against a man who had not indulged in it. An extraordinary rhetorical feat, and a dishonorable one.

What makes this all the more dismaying is that it comes from Barack Obama, who has consistently presented himself as a healer, a man of a new generation above and beyond race, the man who would turn the page on the guilt-tripping grievance politics of Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton.

I once believed him.

CORRECTION -- Last week I wrote that in 1995 Bill Ayers gave Barack Obama a fundraiser in his home. I should instead have called it a campaign event.

I noted your introductory statement, and I refuse to read the article you posted. You are myopic and divisive. You are a purveyor of misinformation, smears, and hate. You try to justify Palin's and McCain's intentional efforts to rile up the most vile ugliness in the people who attend their rallies, but it's not right. You know that, don't you? It's unjustifiable. Well, perhaps you don't know any better; perhaps you don't care.

@Debra Law,
Which is legal and which is illegal?

ILLEGAL: Without an amendment to the Constitution, authorize the federal government to "spread the wealth around."

LEGAL: Authorize 100% tax deductible, voluntary donations by individuals to private charities to "spread the wealth around."

The Left, aided and abetted by the media, has been headlining that 'kill him' remark at a Palin led rally, but so far not a single one has been able to produce a single bit of tape, footage, a name, etc. that such an event ever happened. Is it possible that this was made up?

Or is it possible that Obama supporters would stage a Youtube event to smear somebody? Maybe some of those sporting t-shirts declaring that Sarah Palin is a *(@* and worse? Or some of the despicable stuff posted on Moveon.org that was so offensive that even some on the Left requested that it be taken down?

Naw......of course Obama supporters are paragons of niceness, virtue, civility, did I say virtue? and would never stoop to ad hominem slurs or innuendo.

Debra won't read the Krauthammer piece. It's a pity, because it is so spot on acurate re what is happening.

Fox, That your cartoon shows you understand the joke that doesn't exist shows you don't understand the issues any more than Joe the plumber. He owes back taxes, doesn't have a plumbers license, nor is he "working."

@cicerone imposter,
Nonetheless, Joe the Plumber shows he is a lot smarter and more knowledgeable than you. He at least understands that government dictated sharing of wealth is over time a government dictated sharing of less and less wealth such that all are eventually worse off than those dictating the sharing.

@ican711nm,
Yes, ican, joe the plumber is much smarter than I am. I earned a degree in accounting, and worked in management for most of my career. Retired early, and traveled the world. We always paid our taxes, and we have no fixed payments today; our home is mortgage free, we paid cash for our cars, and we have money in the bank.

Yup, joe the plumber is much, much, smarter. You got that right! LOL

What do any invidual's tax issues, employment status, or whether he or she is licensed have to do with anything even if any of that is correct? The liberal Left, including the media, has certainly shown what stuff they are made of. They are openly attacking a citizen who asked a candidate a perfectly reasonable, non snotty, non aggressive question and have subjected that citizen to the ugliest scrutiny, innuendo, scorn, contempt; some has even come from the Obama campaign which suggests the campaign may even pushing it.

Has it really come down to this? Does CI or other lefties on this board really sanction a citizen having his private life violated and being held up to public scorn and ridicule because he dared ask a candidate a question? Joe didn't seek out Obama. He wasn't a protester or activist or doing anything whatsoever but minding his own business when Obama entered his neighborhood to talk to the citizens.

The fact that Joe Biden has joined in the derision and that Barack Obama has not stood up and publicly denounced a hateful media and leftwing bloggers for their despicable and unconsionable personal attacks on Joseph Wurzelbacher says something about who Obama is too. The little guy is a good guy only if he keeps his mouth shut or heaps on praise of the messiah, yes?

@Foxfyre,
His private life violated? You've completely lost it; McCain introduced him, and he volunteered to be on tv shows, and be interviewed by the media; his 15-minutes of fame. He exposed himself to the world, and you now claim his "private life was violated?" What world do you live in?

The Messiah speaks. . . . again

"We" will change the world. . . .

Quote:
At a glitzy fundraising event in Manhattan at which Bruce Springsteen and Billy Joel performed Mr Obama warned high-roller supporters: "Don't underestimate the capacity of Democrats to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory. Don't underestimate our ability to screw it up."

But much of Mr Obama's speech in Londonderry - punctuated by cries of "We all love you Obama", "I love you" and "We will work with you" - was devoted to the kind of quasi-religious sentiments and motivational-coach style exhortations, the kind of pride that set him up for a big fall in January.

"I want you to believe," said the candidate, clad in an open-necked shirt and barn jacket. "Not so much believe just in me but believe in yourselves. Believe in the future. Believe in the future we can build together. I'm confident together we can't fail."

There was a carnival atmosphere among the crowd of some 4,000, who almost drowned Mr Obama out as he reached his crescendo and said: "I promise you. We won't just win New Hampshire. We will win this election and, you and I together, we're going to change the country and change the world."

Mr Obama was described as "preternaturally confident" in a gushing endorsement by the Washington Post on Friday.

His supreme self-belief has also been the target of late-night comedians. "With just 19 days left until the election, Barack Obama warned supporters today to guard against overconfidence," Tina fey of Saturday Night Live reported.

"Then he boarded Air Force One, blasted 'We Are The Champions' and shouted 'I'm King of the World'."

Both Democrats and Republicans in New Hampshire appear convinced that Mr Obama will win.

"We feel we're on the brink of a whole new life in this country," said Betsy Whitman, 69.

NOTICE TO ALL SPORTS FANS:

IMMEDIATELY AFTER BARRY OBAMAS CORONATION ALL SPORTS EVENTS SCORES WILL BE KEPT IN A NEW FORMAT. THE SCORES (TOUCHDOWNS, BASKETS, GOALS, WHATEVER) WILL BE IMMEDIATELY ADJUSTED AT THE END OF THE EVENT SO THAT THE DEGREE OF ABILITY, MOTIVATION AND ACHIEVEMENT BY THE PARTICIPANTS CAN BE DISTRIBUTED IN A MANNER SO THAT THE FINAL SCORE WILL NOT REFLECT THAT THE NON-ACHIEVERS ARE LESS CAPABLE THAN THE HIGH ACHIEVERS. ALL EVENTS WILL END IN A TIE.

SOME IGNORANT REPUBLICANS HAVE STATED THIS IS A RIDICULOUS CONCEPT AND THAT THIS WILL RESULT IN BOTH THE HIGH ACHIEVERS AND THE NON-ACHIEVERS BEING LESS COMPETITIVE AND PRODUCTIVE, BUT “THE CHOSEN ONE” AND HIS DICIPLES HAVE ASSURED US THAT THIS IS NOT THE CASE AND THAT THIS IS THE PATRIOTIC METHOD.

“THE STAR SBANGLED BANNER” WILL BANNED AT ALL SPORTS EVENTS AND REPLACED WITH “I WOULD LIKE TO TEACH THE WORLD TO SING” AS COMMANDED BY THE CHOSEN ONE.

@Foxfyre,
Check out the info. on Obama's membership in the "New Party" in the 90s when he ran for the Illinois legislature, Foxfyre. Correlate that with the Woods Fund, ACORN, his connection to Wright and the Black Liberation Theology, and all the rest. The chanting of change begins take on alot more significance, not just a campaign ploy, but stands for something alot bigger. I think we can now begin to connect the dots, not just speculate on the dots and where they are. This guy really thinks he is Gods gift to the world, or somebody's gift to the world.

@okie,
okie, I was a member of the US Air Force in my youth; worked with nuclear weapons. Much more dangerous than anything Obama is being connected to in his youth. Of course, you won't be able to see what I'm getting at, because you only want to find mud that will not stick with the majority of American voters. It only shows how small a mind you have. You can't see all the good Obama has done for the people of Chicago.
