It looks like I'll be arriving a week too late to meet Kitchen Pete, so maybe it would be two gatherings.

I don't know what, if anything, my daughters have planned, but I should be able to meet with you on the 12th or 13th and will likely bring the daughters too. We were kind of favoring the 13th so that Mr. and Mrs. Seal Poet might be able to participate. I'll be in touch with Merry Andrew, so those of you who can come could contact him. It's the Columbus Day holiday, if that's any help.

I would love to meet you all. Well, I did meet little k, so in her case, I would love to meet her again!

Sorry to be so absent from this thread, given that I started it!!! I was on my motorbike all yesterday, riding down from Yorkshire to London (about 280 miles - great day for riding, too!).

I've spoken to my friends in the (mythical?) Byfield and I've been told that Wednesday is much better for them than Tuesday (we'll be in Boston during the day in on Wednesday, apparently) so - is it possible to shift our meeting until then?

I'm happy with wherever you guys choose - even Manray if you all want to go there!!! I'm not generally into Fetish stuff and (FYI, in case of doubt) I'm straight, but it'd certainly amuse my brother and friends to discover that my internet friends decide to go there...I just won't tell my mum!!!

I hope Wed's OK - if not, I'll see if I can alter plans to make Tuesday.

Allston isn't so bad early in the week. Just go through Harvard Sq down JFK and across the river. Parking can be a nightmare.

Was the Thirsty Scholar ruled out? Parking isn't bad there . . . by comparison.

BTW, Did you know that bars in Somerville are now smoke free? Can you imagine the Burren without smoke?

It's the parking that scares me! And the sl o w greenline.

Cambridge is now also smoke-free. At least I think it is. I keep seeing people standing outside bars smoking.

Oh no, I won't be able to meet KP after reading so much about him on the diary thread. I'll be thinking of all of you and missing a great group of people.

One good thing is that any night is fine with me as long as you all write in with details.

I don't know about Cambridge being smoke free....isn't Phoenix Landing in Cambridge? Some of my friends and my ho were there last weekend, and they said you could shmoke there.
