Hi all,

My brother and I are going to be visiting friends in Byfield, Mass. in October. Very Happy

Meeting for a drink (or two) in Boston one evening would be great.

I'll have to check with our hosts before confirming a date/time/place but who's interested/available for Monday 6 Oct or Tueday 7 October?

It would be great to put faces to names.

Let me know if you're interested and any specific suggestions for a meeting place.

KP

Byfield, huh? That's one of those places that people from Massachusetts hear about and say "There's no place here by that name".

Just a warning, it's about an hour's drive to Boston from there on a good day with no traffic. (I actually had to look it up on a map - had no idea where it was).

ANYHOW - I think it would be perfectly lovely to meet up with you - if the other Massholes don't show up here, I'll drop them a line and tell them to stop by. Monday and Tuesday might be a bit tough, being a school night and all, but I'm game.

Weekday meetings are a bit tough. I'd try for either monday or tuesday though.

I have never even heard of Byfield.

Byfield. That's where I bring dates to leave on the side of the road if they don't put out.

Sorry about suggesting weeknights - but we'll arrive Friday 3 Oct (late) and should really spend the weekend with our hosts...then we'll be in NYC by the following weekend.

I'm not suggesting that anyone comes to Byfield - I'll come to Boston...maybe on a bike, if I rent one...I've never ridden a Harley and would like to give it a try!

Looking forward to meeting any who can make it.

You should feel sympathetic..unless you enjoy conversation about how I enjoy egging old people walking in the nursing homes.

Be careful riding a Harley through Boston...dey sum crazy drivers out here.

That's my B-day weekend. Send me presents.

Certainly interested in meeting up with and putting a face...oh wait..theres you're face already. Humm..well, to see if its real then.
Byfield threw me too.
Oh, and as far as trying out a Harley on a weekday into Boston....
I wouldnt suggest it unless you know, you want to die or something. Wink
Yeah, weeknight could be tough, but certainly willing to give it a shot.

In October, there's also the possibility of freezing to death on a Harley. Yeah - gotta love it when that happens. And the rain - oh - the pelting sheets of rain! Woohoo! Get a car. With heat. You'll thank us.

Monday's less unlikely for me, but keep me posted.

Byfield... goes nuts two three times a year with a huge antiques flea market along several miles of route 20.

THERE IS LIFE BEYOND ROUTE 495!
