He was telling the truth though; you are looking for an audience to whine to.

This sucks.

If that's true, then why don't you just do what Carlin did years ago? He disowned the whole human race, decided that he will no longer be a part of it, and now casually enjoys the show without any vested interest in the outcome, and with a special glee when **** gets f*cked up.

The differences being, of course, that

A. You're the one here whining

and

B. There ain't no money in it for you.

It's a good way to deal with it. ****, I got through the bloody headlines of a five-year war in Iraq (so far) using that strategy. Separate yourself from it in your mind, and you will be much happier, and it will be much easier to watch the sinking ship, if that should happen.

And bowing up and waving your dick at me... what's in it for you?

Far be from me to interrupt your pity party; usually you're not so thin-skinned that you can't face the truth of how you're behaving.

this sucks... it does suck.... how is that whining?

If I said, I find this distasteful and unacceptable... would that be whining?

Because it's the same as this sucks...

Yes, it would. You're throwing a pity-party b/c your candidate lost.

You don't see the Republicans who supported Giuliani or Mitt Romney doing the same thing. They've accepted it and moved on, supporting for the most part their candidate. Why can't you do the same?

And why can't you admit that your arguments against Obama aren't really what one would call 'substantive?'

IMO, stating your feelings is a place to start self-examination.

Simply railing at the state of the world is whining.

Don't get me wrong, venting has its place. I just find venting in public to be vulgar.

Well then you are in the wrong place... because that's what this entire forum is... people stating their opinions.... venting.... sticking to their guns.... and if vulgarity offends your tender sensibilities... well.... this place is full of vulgarity on a regular basis and I'm only a little part of it..... maybe you should join a knitting forum or online bingo.... so you're not hurt Laughing

It isn't true, and you know it. In fact, I've posted criticisms of Obama more then once myself, which you are also aware of.

What you are dishing out however is little baby whining; and assertions based upon nothing. Your criticisms are most definitely not substantive, but seem to be more emotionally based.

What gets me, more then anything, is the post you made the other night, saying 'I'm tired of the drama, and going to bed.' What a crock. If you were really tired of the drama you would have just... gone to bed. I think what is more accurate is that you thrive on **** like this.

Cyc and Drew are gloating like arrogant brats. How does that help to unite the Democratic Party?

I find your gloating immature and disgusting.

I think it's more like tough love. If I recall, DD was not an Obama supporter.
