OMG! Is It Possible?

since obama has stances no different than biden or richardson, being moderate in nature, yet promotes his as a campaign that is a vehicle for "change" there is not much one can examine about the entire package as promoting "change" other than that he a black man in a white man game.

so be it, but to think that his race is not the reason his "change" meme resonants with people who also see the same political attitude in white candidates who they don't support one can only point to his race as the instrument of change.

you might not know it, but there are a lot of black folk who do not like the fact that obama has a white mother

Nor does Clinton have any positions different from Biden or Richardson. She tried to run as a right leaning candidate, but Edwards scotched that.

Bill Clinton didn't come out of nowhere to win due to his skin color. With all of Clinton's overwhelming assets going into this campaign, it is very simplistic to say "well he's black and we all know that is a big political plus in this country." Is it so unbelievable that the combination of his charisma and Clinton's awful response to it is the reason we sit where we are today? To say that a white man couldn't have sold a "change" campaign denies all the men that did it.

With so much TV, from reality shows to bad movies, the best entertainment is what happens in your living room. This basic-cable masterpiece raised talking back to the TV into an art form, as a human and his robot buddies were consigned to live on a satellite, watching lousy movies against their will. The team's rapid-fire references ranged from the scatological to the Biblical ("Give us Barabbas!" they shout over a crowd scene in Attack of the Giant Leeches). With other meta-TV shows like E!'s Talk Soup, MST3K was an example of what culture critic Steven Johnson called "information filters," or media about other media; it filled the snarky role of blogs before blogs existed. From the vantage of MST3K's lonely Satellite of Love, pop culture was hell, and heaven too.

Oh....it's one of those "if you don't like the show, or don't find it funny, you're just not smart enough to understand" type of shows. Is this an Obama thing?
