And as the sun sinks slowly in the West, the Pups find themselves in 7th.

Someone must have passed them in the rankings.
Some lucky son-of-a ........
Good day all. I'm in eleventh place. I'm trying very hard to climb up, but, there's many good teams. Second half will be better. More of a knack.
The 'Necks, in 10th place, are matched against the 1st place Squirrels this week. I was in 8th place last week. I could well continue to sink.
and I've been tinkering, and tinkering.
Amusing. One of the Squirrels' RP's came in in the 9th and gave up a game-winning HR to the 1st batter he faced. His ERA and WHIP are listed as "INF" as in infinite. I don't recall seeing that before.
It happens every week, rjb.
Yesterday my stellar RP Carlos Mármol did not get an out, and received 4 runs instead.
MY reliever has a more infinite INF than the Weasels'. So there.
And I note that one of my SP's lost a game tonight (2-7 or so). He had 1 K. But he threw a CG. Go figure. Reckon the RP's on his team must be really bad.
My pitchers tonight did combine for 18 K's. Sweet.
Well, YOU didn't have to deal with teams with superhuman batting and pitching. Or did you, oh, wait...

No, they're really tired.
Might have to change my teams name to the Detroit Loons. (DL) Came home from a long weekend to find two more players on the disabled list. Who do I speak to to have my roster capacity increased. Can't let go.
Meanwhile, back at the motor city ranch, tiger manager Leyland, is useing a hat to draw the daily roster, for each game. I have baezer by one, as I'm typing this post. Need to hold on. Have a great day leaguemates.
I'll be heading for the true north (strong and free) this weekend, so my
"moves" count will seem strangely stagnant. This time tomorrow I
expect to be on Rue Maisonneuve sipping a brew and listening to some jazz
at the Montreal Jazz Festival.
It looks like the top three teams are getting nailed this week.
Some of the rest of us are staying approximately where we are seemingly nailed down. The Buppies are probably moving..
Georges arrives home (did you have a great time?) and starts right in with the pitcher chess board...

Can't wait to hear all about it, George.
Georges... is that his name in French. Probably not.
George is now within spitting distance of 3rd place.

With the T-Crazies in spitting distance of him and the Stardust in spitting
distance of them, and... well...
This could get messy.
