The 3 teams on top lost this week Smile
I'd say the Weasels did build a good gap. The others are reachable by good ol' boys George, Tico & myself.
...now, only I got to have those New England Poodles on check.

Those New England Puppies are good at jumping fences in a kind of sweep maneuver.

grr. The 'Necks sink into 10th place. Why am I so bad at this?

I noticed that Yahoo has opened up registration for Fantasy NFL Football already. I emailed JPinMilw asking him if he would agree to set it up again this year. He replied that he would try to start a thread shortly to discuss the rules for this year's league. Watch for it.

My life is dedicated to A2K and fantasy sports.

I consider that good.

JPinMilw has set up a thread, "Fantasy Football 2008," to talk about the groundrules for this year's game. See you there!

I've been good, Alex, 'cept of course for the southpaw team, yet another learning experience. As my old business partner used to say, 'can we stop learning yet?' Still, I do know fractionally more than back when I started.

Warm here, as to be expected. I'm managing day by day to keep my young garden alive with my watering can. Stay tuned.. it may all crisp up one sunny day in July or August. Neighbors' doggies deposit some manure on the sand, in the meantime.

This is the best year I've had with my garden. Everything is supersized from all the rain. Corn in probally three weeks. Celery in about a week.

I hope, Alex, that you will go over to JP's Fantasy Football 2008 thread and indicate an interest in playing. I always finish near the bottom of these things, but it is amusing to try to win.

Corn.. I've only grown it once, but I remember family friends' fields, picking corn for dinner.

Have never done celery..

I've one parsley, one thyme, and one regular sage doing well for the moment.

Maybe next year my team will be named the thyme kickers. We'll see.

My catcher has suffered a "left testicular fracture" when he took a foul tip to the cup ... but cracked nuts and all, we shall overcome and persevere!!

Looks like there is the potential for rearrangement in the standings betwixt Turf Toe, El Paso Gas, Tico and Cosmik.
And the 'Necks should overtake Pantalones and, perhaps, the 'Paws.

How badly I lose to the Squirrels for the week will depend to a fair extent on today's two pitchers, whom I've researched via their own city newspapers and am glum about - Wellemeyer, who is presently trying out new footing, and Wandy Rodriguez, whom batters seem to have caught on to - even though they've both had some good games not all so long ago. And of course my ever-evanescent batters, but hey, that's normal.

Well, if I make it to the cellar, I'll have to nose around the wine collection. Perhaps a good cabernet and snacks would soothe the travail.
