the boss = Jespah = The Boston Puppies.
Thank you for clearing that up realjohnboy.
Down with the boss.
G'help you, Alex. Surely not me.
You talking about Halliday, or was it Holliday? pffft.
I am not playing this year, Alex. But I will still taunt...
RH
..and that can be loads of fun.
Check out osso's results so far today with her dogeared southpaws. She, who claims to be naive about this, got an amazing performance from her hitters. I am starting the week in a deep hole.
(BTW, Jo: Your 2B player -Weeks- is idle today. Your guy Cabrera is qualified at 2B and SS. Did you know that you could have moved Cabrera from SS into the 2B slot, allowing you to move Renteria from BN to SS.
Renteria didn't have a great day, as it turned out).

{shniff}
Thank you for your nice smack talk (what an odd thing to say).
John, hah, a2k is stuttering, we're all having trouble with double posting, or some are. Cabrera was in there for today, and I've switched him since. Or so I think.
One of these days I'll tune in. I was off to Bernalillo today, more on another thread.
I'm liking my hitters, especially some newbies I've tried out, but have just about lost the week already from that person, Lilly, who gave me a 9 something ERA last week, so any great ERAs got equalized. I could have pulled him then but I was just learning, y'know. At the beginning of the week, I didn't know how to drop and add (I'm a mix of clutz and bright, thus a blutz), and after learning that, couldn't even find pitchers on the list of availables. Just learned an hour or two ago, and added one after today, when Lilly showed up with a 12.67 ERA. I might as well just roll over.
Find me some clover and I'll consider it.
On the other hand, I'm catching on.
So, I found a new pitcher, who knows but the Phalarope how he'll do, but it can't be worse. Or can it?
i think that's a great pickup osso. Joe Posnanski, who is one of the most respected baseball bloggers out there (and a fantastic journalist and writer I hear), is following Bannister closely this season.
You can check his blog
here and his latest entry on Banny (as Posnanski calls Bannister)
over here.
Be careful, all Royals fans are a bit off....
I managed to delete 2 of my 3 postings of the same message. Whew.
Hi, Pants, that's reassuring. Let him remain well....
I picked him as the most likely person when I was in a hurry. That's mostly worked out well so far, but it's early, as Tico tells me and I believe.
I gotta say, baseball is, for someone gone a long time, a puzzle. It has engaging complexity and major drama. (Indeed, I like sports and its literature for the drama and drama's nuances.) The game site IS super puzzling - just figuring out what to click and why - a mystery at first for someone who hasn't watched baseball in decades, and a sort of stupid webby at that.
I know there are layers past what I'm getting to understand. Excellent, am interested now.

The Andújar-Joe Morgan story is sheer fun!
(I admired both as players, but as a commentator Joe Morgan is Mr. Commonplace)

Next baseball cap I'm getting is KC.
¡Viva Soria Cabrones!
Oh, no, are tee shirts next?
I don't have a favorite team yet, so I can be above the fray. (I tend toward the discreet.)
So, I'll wave my Venice (California) cap when appropriate.
Osso, you can be the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim, they switch towns and names and towns reglarlike....

I (sort of) collect ML baseball caps.
At the moment I have Oakland, NYM, Washington & Atlanta.
Guess, Osso, where I lost my San Diego cap?
In Venice... Italy

heh, you ain't kidding! The last time I paid attention to MLB I was..... er.... a lot younger and had a different last name.
I'm back and finally looking at the league again.
Will have to read back and see how to move folks around.
Last week, ehbeth was an example of the ample possibilities of nonchalance in Fantasy Baseball.
Welcome back!
And from me..
Chances of me with an Angels cap are small, but you never know. (Think of me as a person who despised the Rams while living there.)
So, fb, where'd ya lose it, if you have a clue?
