As crazy as it seems ehBeth, it is usually event driven....I've been dealing with a clogged drain for three days now, I think I have it fixed and yuck, there it is again...and a I go for cigarettes. We've been having trouble with the computer...bam cigarette. I know I need to find something else, just haven't figured it out...do not want to go for candy or food, I'm fat enough already...laughing. Of course, it is habit, when I'm at the computer, for instance or driving in the car, i really want one!

Thank you for your question and your interest.

What about a sugar free chewing gum, I have started it at the computer,
not because of smoking, but it really helps my concentration. The stuff I get, they are really small pieces so that my jaw is not sore from chewing a mouhfull of chewing gum. That may help you forget about the weed.
Perhaps someone has suggested chewing.

Laughing at previous post.

It looks tacky, but a work associate went around for about a month with toothpicks in her pockets when she quit, and when I did, I used them a little, and thought they helped. Nothing so wonderful about them that you want to keep on buying boxes of toothpicks though!

Laughing Ossobucco...Yes, I could give them a try too. I tried those coffee stirrers, but something about them made me gag, so can't keep one in my mouth at all. Yep, toothpicks and gum...going to the store today.

THANK YOU

gum or toothpicks? Hmm, individual pieces of gum spiked by toothpicks, laid out on a little platter..

I think it's a winner...do they have a category for odd or weird appetizers?

Not as such, I don't think, but many appetizers are weird..

I used to chew on cinnamon flavoured toothpicks. I still pick them up once in a while, when I need to do some nervous oral thing.
