I've no claim to originality, then.
Get a box, buy a vacuum cleaner at a thrift store, cut off the hose, cut a hole in the box, stick the hose in the box, put the cat in the box, tape it shut, cut in a small vent on the other side, attach the hose to the muffler of your truck, turn it on, wait 5-10 minutes, check for movement, wait 20 more minutes for good measure, open the box, and check for a pulse. You should leave your window open. I would anyway.

Ok put the kitty in a plastic box take a can of eather and insert the straw in a small hole u make and he or she will slowly go to sleep after there out xo not open the box they will briefly suck in one last breath then ope the box its the same way the day it in a kill shelter
Pour engine antifreeze/ coolant into a dish, the cat will like the sweet smell and begin drinking it, it will get very sleepy and then dream it's way to cat heaven. Antifreeze/ coolant is highly poisonous to animals, but in gentle humane way.
