There are 2 KOA type campgrounds about 3 miles from our house on I-40
I plan to work up a framework tomorrow, with the understanding that it is for batting around, just to get us past wishes to talk and to work out some venues, and I bet Johnboy will have worked up his ideas. Thing is, given a short weekend, I think there will be multiples for any given time period.
Diane has said we're welcome there, but has also asked for visitors to be not many at a time, unless I misremember. (Or maybe they'll do a one time thing. Their choice.) We do need to deploy otherwise. Put your thinking caps on re what you really don't want to do and what you might enjoy. The next person who says "I just want to meet a2kers and not sightsee" will get a barrage of anchovies hurled by me.
I haven't posted anything at all about music venues at night, or much else at night. I gather there is a music scene. Check the Alibi newspaper as a start.

Framework is a great word, here. We simply can't sit and watch each other for 2 or 3 days at a time.
Music scene doesn't sound too good, to me. I can't hear conversation over extraneous noise.
