I don't understand why everyone is posting information about motels and such. I feel comfortable speaking for Dys, and I would like to invite everyone to stay at his house. Don't bother bringing food -- the fridge will be well-stocked.

I'm not coming - unless I win the lottery - and I believe you have to buy a ticket to have any chance at all of this happening!

I have been working on the air fare. Gasp. Cville is still an expensive place to travel to/from.
With regards to hotels, I just toyed around with it a bit. Costs being equal, would Old Town be preferable to Downtown Alb?

Old Town would be just fine, Old Town is just down the rode from Downtown with free bus service.

Good times in Chicago, but no, I've not yet committed to ABQ. If I do come; I'm taking Gus's advice and staying at Dys's place, eating Dys's food, and borrowing his Porsche for the weekend...

I hear you on the airfare, rjb.

My current thoughts are to arrive early Friday and leave on Monday (could change yet). I'll stay at whatever hotel/motel you decide on. We might as well stay in the same place. Let me know what you decide and I'll book a reservation at the same place.

No hurry at this point...
