BTW, I'll try to talk Dys into joining me in a duet we sang for company last year. It's the shower song from M*A*S*H*. Luckily the lyrics are simple: "Oh I love to go swimmin' with bow legged wimmin and dive between their legs." Unfortunately, we don't know how the tune goes so we sort of make it up, seldom singing in the same key.

We are unbelievably fine. Cool

Good afternoon. 10 weeks, Walter wrote. I went ahead and locked in my stay at the Best Western Rio Grande and also my flight. Getting from C'ville VA to Alb NM is neither fast nor cheap. If yall know of any street corners where I could hang out soliciting for spare change, please let me know.
I am scheduled to get in around 1 pm NM time on Wednesday. May 14th. If anyone else is available for drinks and/or a light supper in the vicinity of the hotel, that would be fun before jet lag sets in.

I'll arrive at Albuquerque International Sunport at 6:49 pm on that Wednesday - I would really like to join you .... instead of just having a sandwich at the airport's Comida Buena Gourmet Deli and Bakery or getting some of Sally's leftovers ...

No milkshakes this time... (I've given up on them; their chocolate shakes are a faint ecru color).

Actually, if johnboy is borderline tired, that's quite a walk from the Best Western; plenty of places in Old Town.

Different timing, too.

Osso and ecru.

It must be a California thing...or she's being all arty and picky.

Sigh.......

Bring me a ecru shake, and make it snappy.

No, wait! It's "bring me the lobster and make it snappy."

Let me be really up front with you, here. I don't eat things that look like bugs, or things that come in colors I can't pronounce. That just seemed like the right thing to say, at the moment.

Ok, ok, beige then.

Diane and I were kidding yesterday... at least the shake wasn't puce (a color that it took me an hour to remember the name of).

Oh, and I was being Miss Picky. I like some goodly amount of chocolate in a chocolate shake... next time I'll get a root beer float or something.

Well, Miss Picky often gets the best pick. There are definite smarts behind that ecrumented attitude.
