I haven't made any reservations yet, but I am planning to come.

I'm really looking forward to seeing each and every A2Ker who comes. I've met some of you before...in ABQ and Chicago. I can honestly say that every single A2Ker I've met so far has been good company. I can't wait to see everyone!

Please reconsider, shewolf! Think about it...whatever the problem is, it can't possibly be worth missing me!!!

Ok, guys. I've spoken with Miss Shewolf tonite, and she is fine...

She had a really rough day, and is heading off to lala land.

Her troubles are not with A2K, and in fact she could use a few pleasant thoughts right now. She will be back in a few days, I'm guessin', but no worries as to snarkiness, just real life steppin' in...

I just got a reply to my e-mail from Shewolf. She was driving when she witnessed an awful car accident just ahead of her in which a woman was killed. It was a terrible trauma for our friend and she's having a rough time right now.

How come I never noticed this thread before? I haven't been able to read the entire thread, but I get the sense that there's some kind of meeting being planned for a place called "Albuquerque" in May. Is that about right? Did I get the gist of it?

I'd love to meet all the A2Kers who will be in attendance -- even the ones that I've already met before and about whom I have, therefore, already formed definite opinions. And it would be a real treat to finally meet the Lady Diane and dyslexia, although I have to admit that I don't really care for dys all that much -- something about his political views always struck me as a bit too conservative.

You can put me in the "maybe" category. I'll have to check my hectic schedule and air fares and such. I will, however, be certain to check this thread with more regularity. Or even once.

Melissa, I'm so sorry about the accident and the trauma it caused you. We will miss you so and little Bean and Ian. Feel better sweetie, it will take time but time is really all you need along with the love from us on a2k.

Joe! Yay. I do hope your schedule will allow the time for a couple of days in Albuquerque. Dys and I were sorry we couldn't make it to Chicago--what a group that was...

Gus, do you make the chips yourself? Do you mix in the healthful swamp greenery and bake instead of deep fry? YUM. We will have cow pattie dip on hand along with irradiated beer and yellow cake mined right here in New Mexico for dessert.
