I don't think I blame him for his remark. While I don't think the number is as high as 95%, a lot of residential black people are involved in crime in ratio to whites. I'm not a white supremicist (I have my bouts with every color of skin) but I don't honestly care about that aspect of Ron Paul. Racism isn't a major concern of mine. It exists everywhere, even against white people. People in America hate my Russian heritage even though the cold war is over; my boyfriend is constantly remarked at for being Polish (and therefore likely Jewish blooded). It's just inevitable; humans have always held grudges and prejudices against other races. What matters is that their rights aren't taken, which he doesn't seem intent on doing in the slightest. I'm more interested in his plans for the economy and particularly the IRS.

Indeed.
I'm an American of African heritage and I will be the first to tell you that, unfortunately, these statements hold a lot of truth (not so much on the numbers though) and anyone that would deny this is living in a dream land.

I think you can judge a politician by those who support him:

Neo-Nazi Leader Supports Ron Paul

How does a politician choose his supporters?
Thats absurd.
His message means different things to different people and I wouldn't put much stock in someone with that frame of mind.

I don't think it is fair to judge someone by who supports them. Especially if the support is minimal, as in a $500 contribution, when millions are involved.

Ron Paul is also all over the prison planet website.

http://www.prisonplanet.com/

White supremest support Ron Paul because of his firm stance on immigration which is

No amnesty, no welfare and Physically securing the boarder. No other candidate takes that stance (or any other stance).

Indeed.
While its sad that such people still exists, their support for more than logical beliefs are irrelevant.

I was agreeing with you.

Yes, now tied with Giuliani when a couple of months ago he was a joke.
Far from possible but I am still very excited about Ron.
When he talks, it just makes sense.(besides the earlier matter that has been resolved).

You are trying to be funny right?

The fact that Ron Paul got 8% means he is still a joke. The fact that he is tied with Giuliani might mean that Giuliani is a joke (we will see in Florida) but it doesn't help Paul any.

No, Actually.
I agree with Ron's stance on a lot of issues.
If you find my excitement about a politician with a brain,
absurd then to each his own....
Everyone else is playing the game,
they always play and the public is buying it.
There is a faction however that has anticipated Ron
(or the like) for a long time now and...........he's here.

I bet he doesn't do better than 10% in any state. Polls have him pegged at 5% in South Carolina.

'Tis a pity since I would love to see him win the Republican primary.

You're not modest about his slim chances but,
at least you recognize his potential.
