The vast majority of Americans rarely read books. They own Pirates of the Carribean 3 on DVD. They drive five blocks to the mall to purchase a grill invented by a man who for years made a living getting punched in the face and has five sons named George. There are more plastic flamingos on their lawns than there are real flamingos in the world
Since you claim the "vast majority", I dont suppose you have any empirical evidence to back it up?
If you'd followed the link within Gargamel's post, you wouldn't be asking that question.
Actually, you've provided evidence of what was found at that link.
I did follow the link, and I did read the report.
Nowhere on that report does it say anything about flamingo's or the George Foreman grill.
So, I ask again...is there any evidence to back up the statement about the grill or about flamingo's?

Woiyo, Is interracial marriage an example of an "abnormal" lifestyle?
Not between a man and a woman

Oh my, are you guys getting the same ads with this thread as I am?
Erm..I..don't..think..so.
What..are..you..getting(question..mark)
I got some full-colour banner ads both at the top and on the right with some very well toned male bods.. impressive six packs. Something inviting about "real jocks" and "gay men". The juxtaposition of banner ad and thread title right above/underneath each other was quite amusing.

I get the impression that the page being served is scanned for keywords and "appropriate" ads are shown. If you follow a thread in the electronics section you may well see ads for TVs, DVD players, etc.

That's not only an impression, it's a way for this site to get some money from advertisers, in order to keep alive....

Either you are being deliberately obtuse (which I truly believe to be the case), or you are proving the case provided by the link.
Playing at being stupid, well, I guess it's fun for some.

I get them at home, which leads to my wife saying "Why are you looking at pictures of women in their underwear?", but at work I just see a blank white area on the right side of the page.

That's what Roxxxanne is telling you, some antivirus just block the ads.
Depending on what I'm doing, I can block them or not...
Why, your wife admonishes you because you look at women with underwear?
