Man, last night was a hodge podge of craziness. The dreams were just flying through!
I was happy. I was sad. I was learning. I was teaching. I was angry. I got even. I was old. I was young. I was shoveling. I was building. I was knocking down...
I'm exhausted.
I dreamed I was black. Basically my ordinary life, except every one of my close friends and family and people in the dream were black.
I remember thinking when I woke up, " Yeah, I'm pretty hot!"
A fun, out of nowhere dream.
The best kind, mushy, the best kind.

I dreamt that I had moved to a smaller place and was struggling to not feel confined. Then I remembered I had to go clean the place I left and when I got there I still had a bunch of stuff to move, and Bear had a bunch of stuff there still that I hadn't noticed before and my sister was sleeping in a bed there that I didn't know had yet to be moved and I was feeling regret for having made the decision to move.
(Hmm. Wondering if I have a few closets to clean so I can move on...)
please don't refer to me as a dirty closet. It's hurtful and insulting.
I don't know that I did or why you would feel that way.
It wasn't dirty socks, it was a bunch of musical equipment, some of it still new in boxes.

I was sitting with a group of other students on the back steps of a highrise college dorm. The September sun was very pleasant.
The scene shifted to a suite. One of my roommates (male) dashed through the common living room, spewing vomit. The consensus seemed to be that I would be the person to clean up the mess.
I declined, left the suite and started climbing a twisting flight of rough wooden steps.
Then I woke up.
I had two weird ones, one nightmare. The first, I was in some sort of electronics factory. It was a pointless dream but I remember not being able to leave for some reason, and cheap pastry.
Then I had a nightmare. Recently on A2K I posted a thread about bail bondsmen and getting arrested under false pretenses. Well, in my dream I got arrested for public nudity though I was standing in my own home. When they cuffed me I fought back, and I woke up flailing. Luckily my wife had gone downstairs to deal with the stupid annoying bored cat.
I was working at the store (there's a nightmare) and the register kept doing something odd. If a item was $9.99, it would ring it up as $6.99 and ADD some other item (like a pack of pens) that was $2.99. The customer would complain that he either should get the $9.99 item for $6.99 or get the pens or both.

I dreamt I was stuck in a checkout line for an hour behind some idiot who couldn't figure out how to use the self checkout machine... oh wait, that was yesterday at the store...
I was on the wall of a besieged castle. The military consensus was that we should open the Queen's Gate and send the armoured knights out to trample and rout the opposition.
To my mind this was a very bad idea. We had one group of armoured knights and when they were slaughtered, we'd have none. The odds were overwhelmingly against a sortie succeeding.
Furthermore, we were well provisioned with both food and water to withstand a siege.
My negative vote was the only negative vote. The gates were opened. the knights were slaughtered and the barbarians came storming into the courtyard.
Well Noddy, I hope that's not a premonition about the Superbowl!

Was going to move into an apartment downtown.
On the corner of Congrees and Ceasar Chavez, instead of there being a 4 Season Hotel, there were now luxury condos. For some unexplainable reason, I was going to be able to rent one for $700 a month.
The layout of the condo was surreal, there being no real boundaries between it and a restaurant that was part of the building. I remember thinking, Wally will hate this, I'll have to go buy curtains.
Last night, everything was black.

The synopsis:
At a house, but more like an apartment.
I was there to deliver a piece of plexiglass.
There was a kitten.
There was endless going up and down stairs.
Near the end I left the house, crossed a roadway to the beach.
I walked up a narrow road.
There was a man on a cellphone leading two dogs.
I got to the beach just in time to see the moon set off to my left.
And then
I saw the sun set off to my right.
I decided to go in the water but it had changed to a lake.
There were young boys with the man with the two dogs watching them jumping off a dock.
I was trying to figure out if I could swim wearing my sweatpants when I awoke.

I was trying to organize the cleanup of a very large plane (jet) that had crashed into a terminal building but not burned.
Obviously--at least to me--the building couldn't be made weather-tight until the wreckage was removed, but no one else seemed to feel any sense of urgency.
