Cold_Erin is coming home...via Israel....sometime...soonish. "The boy" from a page or two ago is currently residing in Israel.

Its just a visit cause he's decided he's gay but anyway she wouldn't mind seeing the Dead Sea and you cant get an international flight from Telaviv so she has to go to Jordan.
No riding buses! or trains or...... hooly dooly its scary having grown up kids, at least when they're little you can actually believe in your ability to protect them.

Her friend from Australia who went to Sweden for a visit came home and said she look really good and has big muscles from handling peoples bags.
She (the friend) passed on some gifts. A Sammi knife and Ice hotel Tshirt for sonpad and another moose, Bruce the spruce moose, keeper of the Ross Noble memorial hidden gumnut in the northern hemisphere. (dont ask).
However our esteemed customs officials at Tulla got wind of the Ross noble memorial hidden gumnutt (for some reaon its important to use the full name) and confiscated it. Bastards!!!!. How could they!!!
I shall have to find a substitute.

Now If all the above is just a tad confusing for you, no worries... she'll be right, I havn't got a clue either I'm just the father.

Wait till you hear about the Swedish rockstars she had to throw out of the hotel.

Who? The Ark? Tell me it isn't so!!!

Israel wil be great, she'll be alright. Somehow millions of people survive there each day, and always have, though that doesn't make the news.

There are two (count 'em) TWO!

They have names.

Shazzdarlene and Torvic (I think) Rut.

They are grey squirrels.

Spring has arrived in the far north of Sweden I would venture to say.

I dont think so. I'm sure we would have heard about Swedish rock stars living in the tree outside her window.

I think the rockstars she threw out were only famous nationally.

She got hit on at reception by an Aussie man who did not know she was Aussie.
She told him "listem MATE! your old enough to my father and I dont appreciate it" he was somewhat taken aback.

On reality they are brown as elsewhere in Europe (outside the UK)

Walter, are you telling me the N American grey squirrel is not present in Sweden?

My daughter said they are grey. I believe her.

Got a problem with that?

It could well be a grey squirrel - though you find them rarely in Europe (besides predominating the squirrel population in the UK, Ireland and quite a few in Italy).

In Sweden, the European squirrel is (at least) mainly present (according to my Swedish relatives and

Red squirrels are sometimes 'greyish'. (To of the about five around here are nearly grey - one is nearly black).

Squirrels can harbour rabies - but you would most probably notice such.

Red squirrels, gray squirrels and black squirrels are all separate species.

The American gray squirrel adapts well to people and parkland has become an imported pest in many parts of Europe, usurping the niche once occupied by native species.

Are there no squirrels in Australia?

I think the ecological niche is filled with small, flying marsupials.

Gliders and possums fill the squirrel niche in Oz.

From the size of a cat on down to the size of a mouse.

Don't think it's necessary to be surrounded by Sq-things, to go squirrely

I have a cat called Possum who can drive me to that, no worries at all!

Mind you, a cat called Possum has his own problems!
