@Izzie,
What sugar, Izzie? Don't remember anything about sugar. Can't find a reference.

I've been sleeping a lot more than usual. Don't know why.

Have a rush job coming in addition to the other job. Good. And not good. How can I work if I'm sleeping? I'll figure something out.

Worried sick about money.

I think of some of my hair is growing back. Not all over, but more places are not bald. And the major spike finally flattened out. I kind of miss it. I liked reaching up and finding a little tuft of hair poking itself to the sky.

I could kvetch about more (I'm sure you'r shocked), but I'm gonna give it a rest.

And how's by you?

@Roberta,
Hey Boida...

How's the sleeping?

Did you manage to get the jobs done?

@Izzie,
My jobs aren't over so fast, Izzie. I have two weeks for the first one and a mere week for the rush job. Editing jobs usually take three weeks; proofreading jobs take two.

I'm sleeping far too much. Don't know why. Can't wake up even with the new thyroid pill.

How's by you?

@Roberta,
You've been on the new thyroid pill a bit less than a week? have they tested your blood levels for it yet? it can sometimes take a while to get the levels right

o.k., I'm being nice - a while can sometimes mean a long while

~~~
nooooooodge the docs if you're still tired next week (and don't already have an appt booked to followup)
@ehBeth,
Foist I gotta say that noodging docs at Bellevue is like noodging shadows. How to you get a hold of them?
Not to worry. Before I investigate the thyroid meds, I'm gonna try something else. They upped the dosage of my antidepressant. This may be the culprit. I'm gonna try the old dosage and see if I wake up.
I can't get much done (other than my work) if I'm sleeping 10-12 (or more!) hours a day.
Have you consulted your docs about lowering your antidepressant dosage? Is a side affect of your A_D medication sleepiness? I'd think too-low a dosage of thyroid meds would be a more likely culprit.
@littlek,
k, There is no way for me to consult with doctors until it's time for my appointments. Yes, one of the side effects of my antidepressant is sleepiness. Otherwise it wouldn't be an issue. I wasn't this tired when I wasn't taking the thyroid med and was on a lower dose of the antidepressant.
My therpist doesn't think that my fatigue is physical. She thinks I've been so stressed out that the relief (throat cancer did not return) has left me exhausted. She could be right. Gonna give it a few more days. Then I'm gonna resume the previous dosage of the antidepressant.
An aside: Tried eating hot dogs a few months ago. My mouth and throat seized up. Tried again yesterday. Success. A major craving was satisfied. Sigh.
@Roberta,
But wait. I have my surgeon's email, which I didn't think I could get. I've only used it once, on my "benches" matter. I looked further later and the whole department in online.
Me, I think your fatigue is physical.
@littlek,
You got that right. Enjoyed them so much, I had some the next night, too--with French fries.
While we've been discussing my fatigue, it's been fading. Slept 8 hours. Woke up and didn't feel that I needed to go back to sleep.
I ran some errands, finished both projects I was working on, cleaned a large area in the living room that was covered over with crap. I made dinner, watched tv, and wanted to clean some more. I controlled myself. Didn't take a nap all day. Didn't even lie down for a while.
Who is this person? Haven't felt like this in a long time. Hot dogs. Cleaning. Staying awake. Maybe I had some kinda breakdown. Maybe I've been taken over by invible aliens. Help!
