Just heard the news...I am going back to Spain. California deserves to fall off into the Pacific Ocean. I used to live there and never plan to go back. What a dreary bunch of voters!

VN, That's the same way I felt when GWBush got the white house. We now have an actor for our governor for the sixth richest area in the world.
The people in this country knows how to terminate the longest existing democracy in a few short years.

Well, thanks, Vietnam Nurse. We aren't all one mind here. And some of us who didn't vote for him love the state.

I am very disappointed myself.

Dies irae, dies illa....

I used to sing it back when I was about twelve. Luckily the organ was louder.

BBB's prediction is toast
A month ago I predicted the recall election would fail. I was wrong. Oh well, what do I know? Sob!

Besides, its all Craven's fault because he didn't register to vote!

I am happy to see that Pencilneck Davis and Pancho Bustamante got what was coming to them.

Now, can I take that promise from Vietnam Nurse at face value or will she renege like the Hollywood contingent who swore they would leave the USA when G. W. Bush became president?

Hobibit says that Arnold will be happy to show all the girls his organ. It would be a change. Davis never showed his organ since he doesn't have one.

(sorry, I just love that phrase even though it holds no sincerity for me)

What, the English made the world go round? I know "God is an Englishman", supposedly, but I've never heard that claim before.

McTag -- you think he should get the Oscar for the performance of the year? He still has a co-star -- Bustamante is still the Lt. Governor and he's got a Democratic controlled legislature. Maria could be his not-so-secret weapon there. He's got his work cut out for him -- no matter the visceral emotions about this whole affair, Ahnold has got to pull this together. The economy of the entire nation is still based on the primary engine of California's economic health. California is not in the dire financial straits it's been made out to be and it is definitely fixable. Davis is not one of the politicians I at least have some confidence in. Ahnold still has to prove himself. California voters are feisty and decisive, regardless of party.

What makes this even a more amazing event is that Sargent Shriver was there to celebrate Ahnold's win. Surprises never seems to cease.......
