I saw Ted open up for ZZ Top this summer and the guy still has it. He rocked the house.
Frank Zappa didn't do drugs either, but, alas, he succumbed to cancer a few years ago. His presence in the California race would've really made things interesting!
Flashback City
In a profile of Arnold Schwarzenegger that appeared in U.S. News in November 1990, the Terminator elaborated on his nascent political views: "My relationship to power and authority is that I'm all for it. People need somebody to watch over them," he explained. "Ninety-five percent of the people in the world need to be told what to do and how to behave."
We may need a reincarnation of Leni Riefenstahl to do justice to Arnold's triumphal entry into Sacramento if he wins the election. Talk about Triumph of the Will!
Is California ready for "Schwarzenegger Uber Alles"?
My 2-cents. The race is between Bustamonte and Schwarzenegger, McClintock is gonna bow out, just wait. IMO, electing a latino to the governor's office in a state where we're already handing out driver's licenses to illegal aliens is like the designated driver handing the keys to his wasted friend.
I'm just wondering what would "really" turn off the voters to Gray Davis? His passing the bill to let illegal to our state get driver's license give them legal rights that do not belong to them. They are here in this country illegally? So what is there to like about Gray Davis? That he would sacrifice our security so he can get more Hispanic votes? We will not be able to use our driver's license to visit Canada, because it's no longer a 'legal' citizenship document. That adds the burden for "legal" Californian's to get a passport at additional cost just to visit our neighbor to the north. How else can the California driver's license be used illegally?

I wish someone could explain this to me...
Well I put that the wrong way. I sincerely want to know why passing this bill was a good idea.

In other words, all Latinos in the US are equivalent to illegal immigrants? Or am I missing the logic here?
Sure sounds like that's what he means.
Well, Bustamonte is Latino and he supports giving licenses to illegals.
I know not all Latinos support this bill, many are vehemently against it.
I thought it was to say all latinos are wasted.
Anyway you look at it, if we are advertising drivers licenses, with a Latino in the governor's office, it will only increase the flood of illegals streaming across the borders. That was my point.
Haha Bill. Not the ones I hang with.
I gotta stop talking in metaphor.
So Bush saying that he wanted to make all illegal aliens legal had no effect, hmmmmmm! Or, was that just done to get votes at a particular time only?
Something about which I very much disagree with Bush.
I guess then you must be Indian - the only group of original, oops, they came in also. But, there was no one to declare them illegal.
