What low standards. If proof was given I'd have held her accountable.

I'm not bashing Trump on anything but his lack of transparency. We had decades of tax returns and financial records on the Clintons. Much of this data made Clinton the most transparently candidate financially.

I'd love to see Trump be as financially transparent as the Clintons. So yes I'll hold him to that same standard.

If they are indeed any facts to back one of those, then sure. The problem is so far I haven't seen anything that supports your premise. I know the ACLU is making a stink about "conflicts of interest" but from what I have read about the law, owning a business and doing honest business is not a conflict for the President. The law is concerned with gifts and freebies, doing business is not a freebie. As for Pay for Play, you will have to find something on that because I haven't heard anyone mention such a thing.

I only asked because it wasn't germane to what we were talking about with the Clinton Global Initiative laying off people and closing their doors. I just mentioned that it reeked of Pay for Play. If the foundation served it's true purpose, wouldn't the donations continued to flow so that they could continue to help people? Instead the charity is now persona non grata among the political left.

Why do you need proof? All you needed for Clinton was innuendo and rumor. I'm wondering if you'll need so little for Trump

I answered him in the only way sensible. I shot him in the head.

No, I told him that no one was taking away anyone's freedom of speech, but freedom of speech does not mean freedom from consequences of that speech. I told him that while I was free to run down the hall yelling about what a crappy place New York is, it would be frowned upon by mngt (rightly so) and it would be quite possible that I could lose my employment.
