The right side of my head is all f*cked up.

Stuffed up, my jaw is sore, my throat is sore, my gland is swollen on just that side, my forehead hurts on that side...

I am sure without a doubt that stupid cold went from irritating cold to ferocious sinus infection.

Waiting to call my doctor who doesn't get in til 9.

Do I call my ob or my regular doctor?

I called my ob and he put me on antibiotics.

Sooo, yeah.

That and Breathe Right strips. And Vicks vaporub.

And Sudafed if I need it for a day or two.

Sorry to hear of your infection, Bella. I forgot all about the presure the last month of my pregnancy, until you mentioned it and I remember how uncomfortable I was.
The hard time sleeping and finding a comfortable enough position was also a pain in the butt.
Then there was the back pain and all that fun stuff, although I never bled like you did.

Being over 8 months pregnant is rough enough without being sick on top of it.

Oh yeah. I remember that. I had bronchitis when SonofEva was born. It made the Lamaze breathing even tougher. They gave me oxygen between pushes.

They let you take Sudafed now?! Wow! I wasn't allowed anything except antibiotics and Afrin (which doesn't work.)

You can do this, Bella. Hot tea with mint, lemon and honey. It got me through it.

I am going to take the Sudafed only today and tomorrow..one pill in morning and one before bed...by then the antibiotics should be kicked in.

I don't like taking meds but dang it, I can't function!

Well, I never took the Sudafed...just toughed it out and verbally bitch slapped my husband around all night.

This morning I feel slightly better. The pill I have to take tastes exactly like dirt. Makes me want to puke.

I was up again with contractions...I wish I'd just f*cking go into labor or be done with this nonsense leading up to it.

It'll all be over soon (not soon enough, I know) and then you won't even remember all this (I'm lying) and you'll breeze through the first weeks with your beautiful baby who never cries or spits up down your cleavage (more lies.)
I bet it's been a while since anyone has told you that you're "just glowing!"

(I'm not laughing at you, I'm laughing because I've been there and done that, and you really will forget most of it.)
