Five hour time difference between GMT and EDT.

Perhaps she'll be posting at 4 or 5 tomorrow morning?

How gorgeous are you lot!!!!Your all so lovely.

Well, Im a happier bunny today.I had my speech going round and round in my head and finally I was called in, the first thing to come out of me was 'Oh Im so nervous, its all going to come out wrong' which must have sounded stupid but I feel it relieved some pressure as it all came out right.
He asked the questions I thought he'd ask, what kind of palpitations, how long and describe the black out.So I told him.
He said not to worry, its quite common.Im booked in for an ECG and a blood test on Thursday.
Now I have to tell my parents when they come back off holiday tomorrow.
Am I a total child for wanting my parent/s to come with me??

Not at all. I'd probably want my Mom with me, and I'm 45.

Well good mg....good for you for seeing it through.

In case you've never had one, and EKG is very simple.
They just attach a few sensors to various places with sticky stuff and it records into the EKG machine. The recording goes on a few moments, and you don't feel anything.

Nothing to it.

Keep us up to date.

It's according to the doctor. Some will do the test with the patient in a hospital gown, some won't. It fact, the doctor will probably not do it at all. A nurse or tech will.

Don't worry. It is no big deal.

Material Girl--

Of course you can take your mother with you--after all, she's interested.

Also, down the road as your parents age, you really should accompany them to medical appointments. Two heads are better than one, particularly when one head is a bit gray.

All went well.
I was topless infront of a complete stranger within 5 minutes of meeting them......which is odd as I usually like to wait at least 10 minutes.
About 7 wires were attatched to chest, arms and legs and a reading taken. Was over very quick.
Blood taking wasnt as bad as I thought.
Im going back in a week.

MG, you and your quotable quotes about the doctor's office! You got quoted twice in a row on the "things that would make perfect sig lines" thread, you know Laughing

I'm so glad you finally got the first step done and now the ball is rolling!! So, you'll find out the results of the blood test and the EKG then? (or is it ECG? whatevs, you know what I mean...) keep us posted...

And do something to keep your mind off it this weekend, i can just imagine you worrying about it until next week, so keep busy Smile Got any fun plans for the weekend?

Parents care. They'd care about your depressive times, too, if you can get up the nerve to tell them.
